They started off the year with a Jadakissnian 18 for 'Two Hearts' and have sent quite a few good tunes since then. This one however is the best since 'Two Hearts'! This was one of a handful of tracks that really captured my attention when I was first going through all of them at the confirmations stage, and has just really stuck with me since. I'm a sucker for this loopy dance kind of sound as it's so infectious and energetic. The production is top notch from the word go and the repetitive lyrics are actually quite motivational tbh. Have a bronze on me! 15 Bøtanikkä // Sagi Abitbul and Guy Haliva - Stanga Wow this has gotta be Bøtanikkä's best entry since I joined! This was another one that I was instantly hooked on from the word go. The ethnic vocals coupled with the absolutely banging production gave me entry envy tbh. So good. Plus it doesn't even peak until the very last minute and I do always love a journey in a song to reach the climax. It's like a mix of this year's winners 'Free Tibet' and 'Aide' which were both very good. Could this follow in their footsteps and go all the way? I bloody hope so! Well done on your most points from us ever! 18 Terra Avium // Kids Of The Apocalypse - Better Life (feat. Wes Period) Congrats Terra Avium, you receive the honour of top marks from the host! And in fact become the second country ever to receive more than one 18 from me! Following BJSC 80 with 'I've Been Secretly Falling Apart' :heart: Plus I gave you an 18 in the spinoff this month so you're on a roll at the moment. Back to 'Better Life' anyway, I have just been in awe of it since the first time I checked it out while making the recaps. Just wow. The perfect mix of haunting and gripping.
