No they're definitely all really distinctive, just in a contest where it's not the most popular genre, there's s good chance people will group them together, it happens with pop songs a lot too but there's usually a lot more of them so it's not as criminal, there is a fair amount of generic dance/standard bjsc sounding songs so I'm hoping it's those that get cut at the semis rather than the rock-ish ones :lol:
November 5, 20168 yr I never take genre into consideration when I vote. It's usually a gut feel of did I like it more or less than x y z and then slot it into my rank in the appropriate place. a vote for kelly clarkson is a vote for hilary xxx #imwithheroche Cheap whore. :kink:

November 5, 20168 yr Voted. Certainly not restricting my votes along genre lines. :kink: (they are really diverse I swear!) (also am slightly proud that rock is the probably the only BJSC genre where 6 or maybe 7 songs constitutes a 'rock-dominated semi' *.*)
November 5, 20168 yr clearly countries like Taahino, Aelandor and Séyetana flying the flag for rock has resulted in more rock songs being entered, it's kinda reminiscent of N DNTN, #00274E and Aeroche being the leaders of the dance/indeh revolution (but not quite as impaktful)

November 5, 20168 yr Managed to vote hooray, one of the most diverse and interesting semis I've ever been a part of I think! Was a hell of a bloodbath for my points and I wasn't giving points to songs that would usually be certs in my votes, the final's gonna be tough is most of them make it through. November 5, 20168 yr Did anyone else receive a reminder? :unsure: With the listen-through being last night my timings are all to cock and I thought I had longer then tonight. Currently in a panic because my rankings are on my laptop at home and I'm not gonna be there until tomorrow!
November 5, 20168 yr Didn't get a reminder but I'm listening now and perfectly aware of the deadline anyway, today was the first real chance I've had to listen to things. Got to say on the whole this is such a strong semi, one of the best (personally) I've been in actually.
