There's a lot of good moments here for rewatchability but I don't get why Syco are holding back on the costs so much given the millions they're making from them at the moment. It's just so garish. And the fact nobody said anything about Perrie's outfit when filming is beyond me.

I've seen it about 6 or 7 times now and I still don't understand quite what's so bad about it lmao 🙃🙃🙃

 

Although, I understand the "cheap" comments I suppose, but I'm only mad at that due to, as others have said, how much they're making for SyCo atm. Standalone it works and does the job effectively I think.

 

But don't mind me! I'll just keep rewatching this! 👍

For me, it's the waste of potential.

 

They are amongst the most successful girlbands in the world, Brit nominations, breaking records with their biggest album of their careers.. they should not be throwing out videos that Neon Jungle would have released.

It should be polished, slick, expertly-produced, glamorously styled.. making videos that wow you and make you look back in 20 years and go 'THIS is when Little Mix were at their best'.

 

Instead, it looks like they finally threw Fleur East out and repainted the 'Sax' set, asked ASOS to chuck a few outfits over and flooded the place with male dancers.. They aren't even lip syncing the lyrics properly. It's a mess.

Well that was an anti-climax. The girls look incredibly gorgeous (apart from Perries vile outfit) but the video is just a nothing kind of video, so much potential for such an amazing song & they throw out a cheap video like that. Not worth the wait. Oh well doesn't make me love the song any less, just makes me a little angry with the label.

For perrie's outfit could they have not have done what Zara Larrson wore for her aint my fault video that workes lmao that outfit Perrie wore DOES NOT

Yeah exactly, they could have had a big budget, glossy video, a club is a good suggestion or for some reason I thought like a desert. This Sax-esque mess comes across as more 4 Of Diamonds self funded debut than world's biggest girl band :lol:

I understand it seems cheap etc... but I really don't see what makes it as bad as what everyone is saying it is in here. I really don't. Is it as big budget as it could be for the worlds biggest girl band? No, I agree. Is it awful? Hell no. I'm sure they had their reasons for the pushbacks. Just coz they delayed the video, doesn't mean they were necessarily working on the video and were just waiting for the right time to drop the video.

 

I do apologise for if this comes off as loony and a bit rose tinted glasses. But to me I don't think it's anywhere near the mess of the 'Sax' video that people think it is. The only similarities I see are the colourful backgrounds? It all flows a lot nicer and more smoothly than that video. To me I've seen the video numerous times now due to how much I find it rewatchable and I can't find what's so bad about it (except the cheap and Perrie's outfit comments - which I've mentioned previously)

 

But ehhh. I'll sleep on it and see how I feel tomorrow. :lol:

I like it's simplicity and the ending choreo after they strut out of that maze of colour is iconic.

I don't think I've ever seen such mixed comments for a Little Mix MV before. Personally it's definitely not their best but, aside from the horrificness they put Perrie in, the girls look amazing and the choreo was great

I agree with Jonjo, it's not half as bad as you lot are making out. It's nothing groundbreaking -- and admittedly, basic as hell -- but not terrible by any means. Just the internet doing the absolute most as usual. I think it's the long wait that's amplified everything; if it was released in Decemeber, the reaction wouldn't be nearly as harsh.

I certainly don't think it's TERRIBLE but when you look at where Little Mix are as an act they should be putting out videos on the level of That's My Girl or at least something that looks stylish like This Is What We Came For. It's not their worst video but, after the SOTME video and the money they've made over the year.. How Ya Doin part 2 isn't really good enough.

ANYWAY, it's a lot better than the SLS video and I hope the basic public take to it and it can get back into the top 10 on iTunes for the week.

Did Camilla Cabello choreo the humping the floor parts? Perries outfit was awful and some of Jade and Jesys lip singing was so off not to mention the headache inducing effects. Not a fan :(
