Has anyone else made a 'Sweetener EP' playlist? Mine goes like this:

 

1. Raindrops

2. No Tears

3. Breathin

4. God Is A Woman

5. Everytime

6. Better Off

7. Goodnight n Go

 

GIAW and Everytime sound quite similar so perhaps I could change the order a bit!

The track "sweetener" is growing on me so much, I'm kind of hoping it's single 4/5.

Urgh the more I listen to R.E.M the more I want it as a Winter single, I think it will sound nice at Christmas and a Christmas version of it would be the best idea since releasing Greedy as a single. (It then it never happened but would have been amazing.)

I highly doubt it. She's kinda...not doing promo anymore I think. We've got the BBC show to come though.

This is now my second fave album of hers behind Dangerous Woman.

 

It’s subtle but definitely stays with you and grows the more you hear.

A diplo track has leaked ‘in your hands’. It feels like it couldve been a bigger production.

as ALWAYS happens with Ariana's songs/albums this has hugely grown after hating it initially oops. Still not keen on Blazed, Light is Coming, Better Off and Get Well Soon though, either dull af or the Pharrell production completely overwhelms the song.

 

Re-discvering the dangerous woman album again lately. I feel like I've underrated her so much </3

Better Off & GWS are two of the best songs on the album. Alongside rem & giaw.

Is this era already now over with the release of Thank u, next?

 

REM and Goodnight N Go would’ve done well as singles but they’re the two songs what are probably the closet lyrically to Pete (aside from the track what’s literally named after him). :unsure:

I'm a bit lost here too because she had already claimed that she has a music video for 'breathin' coming? :unsure:

 

If "God is a Woman" then we should get the Breathin soon and then the 'thank u, next', one in about a month or so! :teresa: :teresa: :teresa:

 

I guess we will just have to see how it all pans out. I get the impression that Ariana maybe feels that 'sweetener' isn't very relevant to her feelings at the moment.
