:D

Its sad for pop music imo that that Charli track is doing well, so immature, I thought we were in an era of more mature sounding pop music like Final Song or Starving for example.

don't take pop so seriously hun. there's plenty of deep and meaningful's out there, 'after the afterparty' is just a fun + harmless bop

and yeah, I echo the other guys, 'starving' isn't the best example...

 3. Maroon 5 ft Kendrick Lamar - Don't Wanna Know

 4. Little Mix - Shout Out To My Ex

SOTME is still #3 combined, though.

How is that seriously bland Maroon 5 song doing so well? I despair at the UK public sometimes. It's easily one of the worst things they've ever released!

haha

I was so much younger yesterday... (yeah)

So much younger yesterday...

I didn't know that I was starving till I tasted you

Don't need no butterflies when you give me the whole damn zoo

By the way, by the way, you do things to my body

:D the pinnacle of lyric maturity

I'm not even against the tropical bandwagon, because I like some of the songs, but this one is just....bad.

I love tropical house and pop songs inspired from it but yeah, I really can't get into that Maroon 5 song.

In terms of production, singing style etc. Starving is quite mature.

It actually makes me a bit angry that it's doing so well. The lyrics of the chorus are the laziest lyrics I've ever heard, it's like they couldn't even be bothered to try.

I don't wanna know, know, know

Who's taking you home, home, home

And loving you so, so, so

Seriously

I usually really like Maroon 5 but I can't get into this new one either. Lazy is the word I'd use too, both lyrically and musically.
I don't mind the Maroon 5 song that much because Adam Levine's voice is much less grating than usual.

Basically this  it is totally dull but I'd take dull over grating any day.

Obviously selling because of Kendrick Lamar... ;)

Tom Zanetti really is going to be huge by the looks of, Top 10 in January.

Swimming Pools (Drank) and Backseat Freestyle were brilliant.....he went downhill with his pop collabs like Give It 2 U and this one though :(

I actually really like the new Maroon 5 track, but I don't understand why they stuck Kendrick Lamar on it. Next thing we know he'll be popping up in Gareth Malone's choirs.

"Give It 2 U" was a pile of shit but "Swimming Pools (Drank)" on the other hand was amazing
