It will be interesting to see if Rockabye can hold on to no 1 this week. It's flip flopping with Black Beatles for no 1 on streaming but is still ahead on iTunes. I think they'll hang on this week but be knocked off next week.

Clean Bandit perform on XF this weekend!

I'm not convinced an X Factor performance has that much of an impact on chart performance these days (singles chart anyway).

It has less of an impact for lesser known songs/artists, but I can see something like Rockabye getting a decent boost from it.

It really does depend on how good the performance is as well. We've had quite a lot of unremarkable performances this year. X Factor can still provide massive boosts when it wants to. Even 'Hold On' by Wilson Phillips managed to shoot up to 27 on iTunes this year because someone performed it.

Are we forgetting what X Factor did for LM?

The song would have been huge regardless, though X Factor clearly helped.

Their performance is on Sunday will go towards next weeks' single chart, as Iain's point is referring to this week.

David Bowie was on 43.1k sales at this point of the week so Little Mix could snatch his crown for fastest selling album of 2016

the news of his death only broke on the Monday though, so those sales don't take into account the sales boost he would have received from that.

I don't think it's within reach for Little Mix.

Hadji, You are suggesting that Little Mix could sell more than 146,168 this week. Not going to happen. They will be lucky to be within 50k of that total.

They might not but I can see them passing 100k by Friday

I think Little Mix will do around 95k, I think they could past 100k though, But it will be something like 101k or small amount over if they do.

I really want them to beat 1D (93k).

I'm pretty sure they'll do something in the region of 92-96k, unless they have a major promo slot in the week which I believe they don't.

Yeah Bowies record is way out of the question for Little Mix. These sales will be huge for Little Mix though. I expect their sales to not fall the way 1D's did last year, either.
Were the Craig David and Alicia Keys songs boosted by their XF appearances over the weekend do we know?

29 and 56 they both were out of the top 100 not a big gain anyway
