December 25, 20168 yr Uggh I really hate Ain't Your Mama, I can't understand how big is still in my country  How is higher than Secret Love Song, Piece By Piece etc? <_< (Apart from that you have a nice music taste).
December 25, 20168 yr Hi Rob, had a scan of the last couple of pages & so many great songs appearing. The absolute faves of mine so far have to be When The Bassline Drops (what an epic comeback track this was!), Stay & Say You Do (now both my faves from the respective artist). A decent chunk of BJSC entries here too, look forward to see what appears in your top 40.

Uggh I really hate Ain't Your Mama, I can't understand how big is still in my country  How is higher than Secret Love Song, Piece By Piece etc? <_< (Apart from that you have a nice music taste). Erm because it's my chart perhaps? fair enough on not liking 'Ain't Your Mama' though, it isn't for everyone! Hi Rob, had a scan of the last couple of pages & so many great songs appearing. The absolute faves of mine so far have to be When The Bassline Drops (what an epic comeback track this was!), Stay & Say You Do (now both my faves from the respective artist). A decent chunk of BJSC entries here too, look forward to see what appears in your top 40. Thanks Dobbo :D
December 26, 20168 yr Author Might as well post a few now as I've got an unproductive boxing evening currently lol! #40 ngORmvyvAaI (38.26.30.40.X3.R25.27.31.34.22.23.13.06.06.05.04.18.26.35) 18 Weeks #39 6KOXbzMRQHs (02.01.01.01.01.03.03.04) 8 Weeks Let's crack on with the top 40 and it's the first of 4 appearances for Canadian musician Shawn Mendes, for this song he decided to hook up with the now ex member of Fifth Harmony, Camila Cabello. 'I Know What You Did Last Summer' was a decent follow up to the mega smash 'Stitches' but didn't manage to go top 40 Officially. Luckily it did however do very well here peaking at 4 on the 15th weeks of it's chart run which esclipsed 18 weeks in the top 40 overall! Now onto my latest BJSC smash, it's from Ukranian band Ignea who as anyone would know by now are symphonic metal *.* I discovered this via recommendations on youtube back in October and ever since then I've not looked back... about 7 plays repeatedly. The two minute orchestral intro is just heavenly, perfect for a blockbuster movie or something and then those crashin guitar riffs and solid metal voice just adds to the wonder. The lyrics are also very special too, talking about politics and well yeah this world is f***ed up with Donald bloody Trump in charge. God Bless Our Souls. 'Alga' awarded me my best finishing result in BJSC to date, coming 24th last month. We thank you! Edited December 26, 20168 yr by XMAS Rob S~

Sia's managed to go from underrated early noughties singer to huge global hit maker in the last couple of years. It's amazing what featuring on anthemic dance tunes can do to your career. Cheap Thrills has done very well on my chart managing to also peak at #2 and spend a decent 11 weeks in the chart to wind up at 38, this isn't actually Sia's last showing in the countdown! Someone who I've never been a real fan of much is Selena Gomez, don't know why but for me I always felt uninterested in her as a singer, besides I prefer Demi and Miley to her in Disney star ranks because they've produced many songs I liked or loved whereas Selena has only released 2 that have grabbed my interest... one of them is this 'Hands To Myself' never went top 10 officially or here but it did splendidly well amassing 14 weeks in my top 40. It probably is down to the video though as shallow as I am because let's face it in the video for this, she's really hot. Bieber must've been a real lucky guy :heehee: Edited December 26, 20168 yr by XMAS Rob S~
December 27, 20168 yr I'm sorry for my comment, I made a mistake with my emoji (I know it's your chart  ) I Know What You Did Last Summer is a bop!! A shame that it's a song from the beggining of the year (I usually think that songs from the beggining of the year struggle to get a high position in the Year End Charts as they use to be forgotten). Edited December 27, 20168 yr by seltinpixmile
December 27, 20168 yr Cheap Thrills genuinely is brilliant, it's been fab to see that have such longevity in the charts (and really unfortunate it never reached #1!). Also nice to see Hands To Myself make an appearance, the chorus/hook bit where she sings about something making love to each other is FANTASTIC
December 27, 20168 yr Cheap Thrills is amazing :music: I have to say it did get annoying after 30+ weeks in the Top 40 though

Elle is still to come as said already with 2 more songs, one is obvious! Much like Selena I never fully got the love for Ariana, she wasn't bad or anything but I just couldn't see the huge fuss over many of her hit songs even though I did chart them, albeit just scraping most of the time. 'Side To Side' managed to do extremely well on my chart thanks to it's reggae backing which suckered me in, it was the follow up to her previous single which is still to come but this one is a real ear jam :music: BJSC was responsible for lots of big discoveries for me this year, many have already charted but one that really stuck out was 'Hey' by Willa. A catchy pop tune that I originally discovered before it was even sent, sometimes I have to wonder what is wrong with my brain seriously, the song came 2nd in July :/ I coulda had a smash, oh well I'm sure that'll come in 2017! 33 is the latest single from Shawn Mendes called' Mercy', a lovely little guitar ballad and already rising high to be my favourite song of his now. He's had such a big year and it reflects because he's got 2 more on the way and 4 in the top 40 overall :o Edited December 27, 20168 yr by XMAS Rob S~
December 27, 20168 yr Hi Rob Mercy is really quite nice, I do prefer his uptempo tracks like Stitche and TYB but his voice is really nice and I love the ad libs on all of his tracks especially. Glad it turned into a chart hit too unlike the also really good IKWYDLS. Side to Side is one of my favourite tracks of the year for sure, both artists are just killing it at the moment and the whole package of the video and song is sooo cool and sexy. I loved the live performances we got of the track too  Enjoying this!! :D
December 27, 20168 yr Rob your 35-33 are pretty great I especially love Side To Side and Mercy. I love the reggae production in the former and Mercy is a great soft ballad
December 27, 20168 yr Alga, really strong entry that! Hands To Myself is Selena's best in years, great vid too. Hey fantastic electropop song.

Zara's recently said in some interview that she wants to be as big as Beyonce... well I think she could, the rate she's going at just 19 years of age she has it all really the looks, voice, sass & of course the tunes. Sweden must be proud of their Zara, the song is fantastic anyway but I do say this when the video premiered and it took time to hit me. Video of the year candidate I think. Just sexy, cool. sassy, poptastic really. 'Lush Life' is still on it's way! No.31 comes from one member of the Jonas Brothers gone side project, Joe Jonas decided to get together a whole new band and thought what better name to call it other than DNCE (dance in other form). I'm sure 'Cake by the Ocean' would be a nice thing to do actually. Has anyone actually eaten Cake by an Ocean before? Anyway back to business it's good fun song that managed to top my chart back in March and stayed in the officially chart for ages much to some fellow Buzzjackers annoyance... even adopting the phrase DUNCE :manson: :manson: :puke: Edited December 27, 20168 yr by XMAS Rob S~
December 27, 20168 yr Author Time to interrupt this countdown with a song that'll be a certainty for my eoy chart of 2017... comes from my latest #1 in my personal chart. Tip for success in 2017! 9ORWF5RkdO0 this has really grown on me a lot since the first listen, just beautiful lyrics that really tell a story, it's one thing I love about a song in the first place and his voice is just delightfully great!

December 27, 20168 yr Author #30 (08.01.03.02.08.22.32.39.X.R27.11) 10 Weeks phmNqAiv7zQ Getting into the top 30 and here's my BJSC entry from May in the form of trance mega tune 'Dive' by Dennis Shepard & angelic vocals from Sarah Lynn. The song sadly did not qualify to the final but thankfully had plenty of supporters, we thank you. The song also failed to get through in rejects as well. It's just a simple beaut of a track and is perfect for early morning music, just sounds soooooo good at 4am *.*

If she keeps releasing the good songs like this she's got a bright future ahead of her! Billie Ray Martin is famously known for some 90's hit but she managed to crawl herself back to relevance at least on Buzzjack as she represented Summericia in Septembers Buzzjack Song Contest and managing to get me out of the bottom 10 in the process, to think I could have done it two months earlier had I stayed with it as a confirmation over Generik  Edited December 27, 20168 yr by Rob S~
December 28, 20168 yr Hi Rob Yay at Hailee Steinfeld appearing so high here, I didn't mind Love Myself but much like you, this was the first track from her that I properly like. It's so much fun and I love the drop loads too, glad it has been such a big chart hit  September Song has grown on me a lot too, at first I thought that it was a little forgettable but it's actually really nice sounding and quite catchy too, would like for it to reach top 40 officially if possible :D

Olly Murs the cheeky chappy as many would refer to him as has managed to do very well in my EOY countdowns in the past and in the case of 'You Don't Know Love' it continues.. It's for me one of his best singles and certainly a more mature sound much like 'Dear Darlin' was in 2013. The Carly Rae production certainly helps and Olly is now one of the longest lasting stars to emerge from the X Factor.
December 28, 20168 yr Oohh yass at Billie being top 30, I'm glad I managed to introduce you to something you love so much (lets forget about Generik lmao). Great track. Loving how high The Greatest is too, Sia's been so so good this year. Wow at how high Hey is, you definitely should have jumped on that and sent it when you were raving about it earlier in the year!
