Listening to Side to Side as we speak actually :magic: great track, so happy to see it this high up!

I'd have preferred TYB to win I must admit (lol I called it Stitches earlier in the thread ) but still fantastic to see it at #2! Work started out great for me but overplay sadly killed it :(

Such a fantastic countdown anyway, the commentary was always great to read and I love loads of the tracks featured! Nice one Josh

Hi again, sorry I couldn't keep following your countdown :( Love that top 3 and I'm very pleased to see both Rihanna singles in the top 5. 'All In My Head' is my favorite 5H track as well so I'm pleased to see it higher than the others. Agreed that 'Good Grief' was a stellar comeback for Bastille and worth the long wait, and YES at 'Hair' being the highest Little Mix track! It's just a bit underappreciated compared to the singles before and after it, which is a shame because it's every bit as good. Much love for 'In The Name Of Love' as well. Sorry again for the lack of comments but this was a great read! :D

Amazing #1 there, never tired of it at all & still play it regularly nowadays :D

Also a big fan of Kiss It Better, should have been so much bigger than it was!

And good to see Pillowtalk get a top 10 spot, far exceeded my expectations that.

A very strong top 10 overall ^_^

Yeah, it's now my most track of all-time on Last.fm too, it still sounds so fresh even now

I really thought KIB was going to be a massive smash hit, still perplexed as to why it never took off.

I never really liked Zayn so much when he was in 1D so PT really took me by surprise but it is fantastic! I wish Niall's track was more interesting because he's really likeable imo!

Thanks for commenting Dobbo :)

Queen Rihanna slaying your chart :D

Work is a million times better than TYB so I'm glad that's at #1 here. That and TIWYCF will both make appearances in my EOY top 50!

In The Name Of Love is so brilliant too, really love how versatile Martin Garrix can be. He's got a new track coming soon with Dua Lipa so I'm very excited for that.

Hi Dan

Yeah, three entries in the top five is not bad at all for RiRi  Looking forward to seeing how high she appears in your chart :D

I think him and Dua sound like a fantastic combo on paper so looking forward to that too, she has very nice vocals too so think they'll suit a dance track like this

Thanks for commenting :D

Hi Josh

Not too keen on Work, Treat You Better is so much better imo. :P

Fifth Harmony ahead of Little Mix. :nono:

Yes at The Girl Is Mine in the top 20. It was a lovely hit last January.

Fab chart! :yahoo:

Hi Jason

Ah well, I think the pure catchiness of Work just meant it HAD to win!

I've enjoyed Little Mix on the whole far, far more this year but I just can't resist the hooks on Flex

Thanks for commenting :D

Hi Josh! Sorry I've not commented until now, but a very nice countdown here. I'm not a fan of Work at all unfortunately, BUT Kiss it Better is really underrated and definitely the best thing I heard from her this era. Side to Side I should technically hate, but it's ridiculously catchy oops

Others lower down:

83. Glass Animals - Youth (I preferred Life Itself personally, but this was pretty cool too)

66. Kings of Leon - Waste a Moment (pretty good comeback from them, shame it didn't do much)

41. Protoje - Who Knows (Shy FX remix) (Omg I hear this on Radio 1 every morning without fail! God knows why when it didn't do anything, but it's a nice reggae song, I mistook it for Ne-Yo on the chorus originally)

40. Shura - Touch (Didn't know this was re-released this year, great song though <3)

29. Imany - Don't Be So Shy (Filatov & Karas Remix) (why was this not a hit :'( perfect summer dance tune)

14. Beyonce - Formation (my fave from the album as well, though Freedom/Don't Hurt Yourself aren't far behind)

Hi Chez, no problem and thanks for commenting! It's a shame KIB couldn't be a hit because it's one of her better slower tracks in years. STS is one of the catchier tracks of the year for sure too, can't resist the hooks on that and the extra rap thrown in for brownie points

83. This was my favourite of the two but I've really been meaning to listening to their album for ages now too.

66. At least the album did well but it's a shame that not many indie artists are able to get singles success nowadays :(

41. It's nice to see R1 still supporting less mainstream genres though but yeah, weird that they played it so much more than loads of massive hits

40. I only heard it upon the re-release so I'm glad it did, hoping we get more music from her soon too.

29. I was really expecting this to take off too but it just never seemed to happen despite being close a few times :(

14. So many fantastic tracks on one album, a shame she hasn't released DHY or 6 Inch as singles too (even though nothing is likely to happen with any more singles charts wise).

Thanks for commenting :D

It is now my favourite from all of Ariana's tracks now, it has one of the catchiest choruses around imo

Stitches was last year in my EOY but it was too low because it was quite near to the end of the year that I started enjoying it so much, still my longest runner on my personal chart ever

Thanks for commenting Joseph

I hate the N.1 :puke2: but I like a lot the N.2 :yahoo:

At least you like one of the top two, better than none! xD Thanks for commenting Seltin :D

Hi Jordan, no problem at all and thanks for commenting!!

It's a shame Rihanna didn't get any more solo hits after Work, the album was full of strong tracks so it's sad that only one hit will be remembered from what I would say is one of her better eras. Nobody seems to think Flex is the best 5H track so yay at someone else sharing my opinion there, it just has the catchiest hooks for me  Hair is really under-rated too, there's not much in it but I do find it catchier than SOTME and the I love how personality-filled the video is too, definitely helped me to enjoy it more.

Thanks for commenting :D

Treat You Better is a really nice song! It has got boring due to overplay, but I remember liking it a lot when it first came out!
