Finally getting further up in the list~ included here are David Bowie's gripping final single and video for "Lazarus", one of Singerpurear's many great BJSC entries this year from Kadie Elder (and another of his artists; Ezra Furman with the rock'n'roll-yearning "Teddy I'm Ready"), an immensely gloomy synth pop single from Beyond The Wizards Sleeve, and clipping. with one of the most hard-hitting and fun hip hop tracks i heard this year, CAN YOU WRIGGLE LIKE AN EEL

Good to see Lost On You here, not normally my cup of tea that sound but her vocals are just sublime & it's an all-round well crafted piece of music!

The Sound was really catchy, I did much prefer their first album but the overall quality didn't dip off like a number of bands of that genre.

59 LUH "I&I"

58 Ariana Grande "Into You"

57 KING "The Greatest"

56 White Denim "Had 2 Know (Personal)"

55 Let's Eat Grandma "Eat Shiitake Mushrooms"

54 Porches "Be Apart"

53 Chairlift "Romeo"

52 Eats Everything "Big Discs"

51 Glass Animals "Life Itself"

The second of 4 KKB appearances kicks off this final batch before the ~big top 50~ LUH's serene but powerful ballad "I&I" is followed by Ariana's "Into You" - love the gritty synths especially during the massive, all-encompassing chorus. R&B trio KING handed Pagasa a BJSC finalist, but soon after handed me a second PJSC victory, for which i'm very thankful. You'd be hard pressed to find a more fun rock & roll track this year than White Denim's "Had 2 Know (Personal)", meanwhile Let's Eat Grandma's ultra-quirky charm was too irresistible for the Unknown Pleasures voters on winning song "Eat Shiitake Mushrooms". "Be Apart" is like the warm, creamy centre of the "Pool" album, and a clear highlight. Chairlift & Glass Animals delivered some addictive pop singles with "Romeo" and "Life Itself" respectively, while Eats Everything's "Big Discs" is a jam to keep you going ALL NIIIGHT *.*

50 Oliver feat. Scott Mellis "Electrify"

49 Suede "Like Kids"

48 Drake feat. Wizkid & Kyla "One Dance"

47 Autoheart "Oxford Blood"

46 Mike Posner "I Took A Pill In Ibiza (SeeB Remix)"

45 Sivert Høyem "Sleepwalking Man"

44 Santigold "Banshee"

43 Wet "All The Ways"

42 Kero Kero Bonito "Break"

41 Charli XCX "Vroom Vroom"

Into the top 50 let's go~~ "Electrify" shocked onlookers with a 6th place finish, a satisfying conclusion to the Trifoski "agenda arc". Autoheart also graced the BJSC landscape back in 2013 with the beautiful "Agoraphobia", and recent single "Oxford Blood" has a similarly affecting power, and i still can't get enough of those vocals. Two #1 hits feature here- Drake's "One Dance" a track that not only defined a year for many but also successfully triggered chart purists, followers and enthusiasts into a weekly hissy fit :D Mike Posner delivered an honest and bleak summary of life as a forgotten pop singer, which oddly enough handed him a huge chart smash courtesy of a remix by SeeB. "Banshee" is easily the loudest and most explosive track off Santigold's recent album- capped by the COME ON!!! refrain (i heard Charli XCX actually provided vocals for this song as well) speaking of which Charli herself appears at 41 with the brash title track of her SOPHIE collab EP Vroom Vroom *.* Kero Kero Bonito also clearly inspired the mannequin challenge in the video for "Break", a song which reminds us all to take a break, advice which i should probably take right now as it's 2 in the morning- goodnight xx

From recent sectons I am liking!

60 Kero Kero Bonito "Trampoline"

55 Let's Eat Grandma "Eat Shiitake Mushrooms"

52 Eats Everything "Big Discs"

46 Mike Posner "I Took A Pill In Ibiza (SeeB Remix)"

43 Wet "All The Ways"

41 Charli XCX "Vroom Vroom"

Ariana, Chairlift and Mike Posner being favourites though!

If only they'd used KKB for the mannequin challenge as opposed to that Black Beatles rubbish :kink: They are the main highlights of the ones I see of late although Eat Shiitake Mushrooms is wonderful as well.

60 Kero Kero Bonito "Trampoline" [8.0] (I remember seeing that KKB cover art as your profile pic before)

59 Lost Under Heaven "I&I" [8.5]

58 Ariana Grande "Into You" [6.0]

57 KING "The Greatest" [7.5]

56 White Denim "Had 2 Know (Personal)" [10.0] (I love this song! Reminds me of rock from the 1970's)

55 Let's Eat Grandma "Eat Shiitake Mushrooms" [8.5]

54 Porches "Be Apart" [9.0]

53 Chairlift "Romeo" [9.5]

38 Lemon Demon "Lifetime Achievement Award"

37 Beyoncé feat. Kendrick Lamar "Freedom"

36 Bonzai "No Rest"

Current Trifoski entrant Amnesia Scanner starts the top 40 with demented Arca-style trip "AS Crust". Dutch Uncles' "Big Balloon" was only a month old by the end of 2016 but makes a swift impact at #39, perhaps their most infectious singles to date, that upcoming album of the same name is shaping up rather nicely~ Bey breaks the chains on Lemonade highlight "Freedom", emphasised by a powerful refrain crafted by Just Blaze, and an excellent Kendrick verse. Lemon Demon's album opener "Lifetime Achievement Award" is everything you could really want an album opener to be, and exciting up n comer Bonzai tops this batch ~no rest for the wicked~

34 Thee Oh Sees "Gelatinous Cube"

33 The Weeknd feat. Daft Punk "Starboy"

32 Kazaky "Milk Choc"

31 Savages "The Answer"

IF YOU DON'T LOVE MEEE DON'T LOVE ANYBODEEE. "The Answer" with its unrelenting rage and strange vocal melodies was the most captivating track off Savages' recent album. Before we get to that: Iglooghosts's "Chinchou" is a track bursting with colour and bizarre sound effects (his music seems to showcase the tale of this frowny gelatinous worm on the cover art as he ends up in various different dimensions). oh yeah speaking of gelatinous- Thee Oh Sees are here with my UP hit "Gelatinous Cube", buzzjack's first real intro to this awesome band *.* The Weeknd came through with an immaculate Daft Punk collab on "Starboy", and N DNTN brought the heat with a stomping dance pop track, complete with a majestic chorus and a drop to get you ~movin~

Chinchou? OH MY GOD THAT'S ONE OF MY FAVE POKEMONS

Seriously though, comments on some of your picks:

clipping. is an interesting act to see here. They're on their way to having the #1 song of this month with "Air 'Em Out", so I'll definitely have to check that out later.

The Sound is a good song! Lazarus is good but I feel like it's slightly overrated. I'm more partial to Blackstar myself :P

Starboy is a great song but unfortunately it missed making my Top 200 :(

Ooh, Lemon Demon! I remember Brodyquest being a #1 novelty back in Sept 2015 for some reason. :P

Keep it up! :D

50 Oliver feat. Scott Mellis "Electrify" [8.5]

49 Suede "Like Kids" [8.5] (Sounds good. I have a CD copy of Coming Up and a CD single of Electricity)

48 Drake feat. Wizkid & Kyla "One Dance" [6.5]

47 Autoheart "Oxford Blood" [7.5]

46 Mike Posner "I Took A Pill In Ibiza (SeeB Remix)" [8.0]

41 Charli XCX "Vroom Vroom" [7.5]

40 Amnesia Scanner "AS Crust" [9.0] Sounds experimental!

39 Dutch Uncles "Big Balloon" [9.5]

38 Lemon Demon "Lifetime Achievement Award" [8.5]

37 Beyoncé feat. Kendrick Lamar "Freedom" [7.5]

36 Bonzai "No Rest" [9.5] "I know that you're under pressure, I know that you're under pressure, I know that you're under pressure, I got the key though to make you feel better." "No rest for the wicked!"

35 Iglooghost "Chinchou / Melon Lantern Girls Choir" [xx]

34 Thee Oh Sees "Gelatinous Cube" [9.0] Have to hear more of this band!

33 The Weeknd feat. Daft Punk "Starboy" [10.0]

32 Kazaky "Milk Choc" [8.5]

31 Savages "The Answer" [10.0]

Good songs so far!

Hey 7,

Loads of great choices so far, but particularly pleased to see these:

Bonzai “No Rest”

Kazaky “Milk Choc”

Lost Under Heaven “I&I”

Shura “What's It Gonna Be?”

Bat for Lashes “Sunday Love”

AlunaGeorge feat. Popcaan “I'm In Control”

PJ Harvey “The Wheel”

Dan Deacon “Change Your Life (You Can Do It)”

“I&I” especially as yours is the only other chart I've seen it other than mine. An absolutely stunningly beautiful song! *.*
