Hey Rich again :D

40. Lady Gaga - Million Reasons this is steadily growing on me but far from what GaGa's capable of usually!

39. Blonde & Craig David - Nothing Like This

38. Lukas Graham - 7 Years Hmm the lyrics are lovely & childish at the same time and his voice towards the end was really awful imo, uneccesary yelling that put me off liking it fully. Maybe he did write it when he was 7 I dunno

35. The Veronicas - In My Blood

34. Zara Larsson - Lush Life I'm amazed at how successful she's become but pleased too!

32. Theia - Roam hit next year do we think?

30. Joe and Jake - You're Not Alone sounds like a Script reject for me  :( fair play to them for trying though!

29. TheFatRat feat Laura Brehm - Monody

27. Imany - Don't Be So Shy (Filatov & Karas Remix)

26. The Weeknd feat Daft Punk - I Feel It Coming Stunning, his voice on this gives me goosebumps, so good!

25. Sia feat Sean Paul - Cheap Thrills

24. K3 - 10.000 Luchtballonnen

23. Alan Walker - Faded YASS this is a contender for my #1 as you know, so beautiful and her voice just gets to me so much *.*

22. Jonas Blue feat JP Cooper - Perfect Strangers this was decent but I prefer JP's song to this!

21. Alan Walker - Sing Me To Sleep this deserved better officially however it didn't hit me a big way on first few listens bizarelly, maybe I was just into 'Faded' a lot still or something lol!

Brill!

Thanks Rob, oops at 7 Years, I think it's quite lovely! Oops, poor Joe and Jake, maybe you'll prefer our entry this year  Yes agree with you about The Weeknd, a really stunning track. Faded is so good! I very slightly prefer Sing Me To Sleep though.

Hey Rich! <3 My faves so far from your top 100!

23. Alan Walker - Faded This is also still so fab! <3

22. Jonas Blue feat JP Cooper - Perfect Strangers

21. Alan Walker - Sing Me To Sleep

Thanks UV! Sia really should have pushed Never Give Up, it's great for a token soundtrack song! Yay, glad you liked Charly Cole, the song was a bit overlooked, it deserved more imo! Glad you like Lauren's album, shame she said she's not releasing any more/going more behind the scenes as a songwriter now :(

Yay for Ward Thomas, and Boomerang is the next single :cheer: I'm glad it wasn't just me that thought it had single potential. Yes I agree with you about Gaga, it should have been a far bigger hit! Same with Joe and Jake. Haha K3 was SUCH a good entry, I'm still obsessed with it!

Very much agree with you on Monody and the two Alan Walker hits, all three have been such great soundtracks to my year - and the new Alan Walker track is sounding great too, he's incredible, great seeing him so high for you. That 'nearly trance' sound is so good while sounding so fresh and modern (and he chooses such great vocalists for his songs too), I can't really get enough of it.

I have great memories with enjoying Kizunguzungu at the start of this year, what a great highlight from Melfest. Will definitely keep up and see what you've got in the top 20.

Thanks Iz, Monody was such a great way to kick off the BJSC year, entrancing song. Alan Walker is just pure class, all of his songs/remixes are 10/10 quality. I'd obviously LOVE trance to make a proper comeback but this will suffice for now.

If I Were Sorry was one of the best Eurovision tracks this year :D

Stimme is amazing as well! Love the instruments in that track :music:

Yassss, so glad to see some Stimme love Pete, that instrumental is glorious!

Dear Life is gorgeous, classic Delta but feels right in 2016 too! Shout Out To My Ex and I'm Not Your Lady are particularly brilliant from that section too.

I cannot stand the Move Your Body remix though :( It's probably because I love the original SO much (it's possibly my fave song of hers and I've loved her since I fell in love with We Are Born so it's no mean feat) and don't particular like the genre Alan Walker remixed it to )

It's so lovely  I finally got her music DVD and had forgotten that the music video version is different to the radio edit slightly. Really glad you took to I'm Not Your Lady too, that did way better than I expected in BJSC! I thought classic Scandipop was long dead!

Oops, what do you think of the new single mix of Move Your Body out of interest? I love the album version and Alan Walker remix about the same but I'm surprised she went for yet another new mix for radio. We Are Born was such a great album, I wish it would be rediscovered by people looking further into her back catalogue, so zany.

YASSSSSSSSS the Old Granny *.* what a TUNE!!

Yasssssssss *.* When will your faves get a 91 year old into an EOY top five?

hi Rich!

my faves in the top 40:

1. Clean Bandit feat Sean Paul and Anne-Marie - Rockabye great number one, amazing to see it spend so long at UK #1 also, still loving it a lot

7. KOLAJ - The Touch

10. Sia - Move Your Body (Alan Walker Remix) the Alan Walker domination :music: he's really amazing, and so talented for his age too

12. Sia feat Kendrick Lamar - The Greatest

14. Real Lies - North Circular

16. EFF - Stimme just wish it got an English translation, probably would've liked it even more if..

17. Frans - If I Were Sorry

18. Pixie Paris - Es Rappelt Im Karton

21. Alan Walker - Sing Me To Sleep

22. Jonas Blue feat JP Cooper - Perfect Strangers

23. Alan Walker - Faded

37. Jorja Smith - Blue Lights

38. Lukas Graham - 7 Years

39. Blonde & Craig David - Nothing Like This

great chart~

Thanks Dan! Yes Rockabye's domination has been glorious though I'm happy with the Ed replacement too! (As long as it isn't Rag 'n' Bone Man at the top I'm happy...!)

Agree with you about Alan Walker! Yes an English translation of Stimme would have been nice, I'm not overly bothered that it didn't get one but I do think it could have made it a crossover hit, especially as Felix Jaehn has form in that respect.

Yay for Starley, into the top ten sooner than I expected officially! Yes I owe Monody to you obviously, what a stunning entry/discovery that was, thank you!

Wonderful #1 and #2, Rockabye has been one of the only things in the chart that I've been actually interested by and from an act I never thought would top Rather Be, they've certainly, I don't know which I'd say is better right now but they've certainly done a good job of trying. And If Love Was A Crime was one of the undisputed highlights of Eurovision this year, I can definitely see why it'd come so close to the top for you. And the descriptions of them both are on point, and very interesting to read, both songs with rather unique and outstanding compositions.

KOLAJ, Pegboard Nerds and especially Ortiga were great BJSC highlights from you this year, definitely glad to see them in your top 10.

Completely agree Iz, it breathed some much needed life into the charts when it needed it the most, they really are such a consistently high quality act. I think I prefer this to Rather Be, and that was one of my favourite songs of 2014, they've done so so well. Agree with you about If Love Was A Crime, and it would have topped my chart if not for Rockabye surfacing in Q4! I'm glad someone was reading the descriptions too, I find it quite a therapeutic process to get my thoughts down in words, even if they're not read by many people! Here's hoping for another good entry from Bulgaria this year, seems they're going back to trashy pop so I'm not sure what to make of that!

Glad you liked those three entries, thanks for all your BJSC support in 2016!

Hey Rich!

My faves since I last commented! <3

1. Clean Bandit feat Sean Paul and Anne-Marie - Rockabye Great #1 *.* As you said, it is so good to see a song with an actual story being told in a song! Also had no clue Ina Wroldsen wrote this!

2. Poli Genova - If Love Was A Crime This & Douwe were the two that I went from knowing nothing about to loving after watching the semi's! Such an anthem!

3. Delta Goodrem feat Gizzle - Enough Nearly as good as Wings  Such a fabulous track & Delta's choruses are fab!

4. Frances - Don't Worry About Me

6. All Saints - One Strike Shocked how much I loved their comeback! This is just one of those fabulous songs that hasn't got old at all! Think it may only be behind Pure Shores for me now in terms of All Saints tracks! :o

10. Sia - Move Your Body (Alan Walker Remix) Prefer the original but also loving the remix over the last few weeks! This really has to be the next single! Still can't believe Shakira turned this down!

12. Sia feat Kendrick Lamar - The Greatest I really like this but it never really completely hit me :(

13. Olivia - I'm Not Your Lady Great to see this here! Definitely my favourite of your BJSC entries this year & one of the best songs in BJSC in 2016, this is just scandipop done so great *.*

15. Little Mix - Shout Out To My Ex This & Rockabye are by far my favourite #1's of the year! Such a fabulous girlgroup pop anthem which I'm still going back to 24/7 *.*

19. All Saints - One Woman Man

20. Delta Goodrem - Dear Life This is really stunning, definitely one of my favourites from the album!

Thanks UV, Rockabye was such a refreshing #1, I hope it leads the way for more interesting hits in the future lyrically! Yes Poli and Douwe were fantastic, I'm glad they both did well in the contest! Agree about Delta, Enough is very very close to Wings, so uplifting and a shame it flopped in Australia. I loved All Saints' last album so I was hopeful of another good one but the quality was just outstanding, I feel like Shaznay is so underrated as a songwriter! One Strike sounds so fresh and classy.

Glad you're liking the Sia remix...shame another remix has taken its place now! Yes Shakira would have had a MAJOR global hit with this, though her Spanish song seems to be doing pretty well on that front already somehow! Yay, thank you for the Olivia support, as I mentioned to Liam, it was great to see there's still room in the top ten of BJSC for a pop song like this! Yes I agree about Little Mix too, fantastic #1, they really are on top of their game!

Ina Wroldsen wrote Rockabye? :o That's good, at least that softened the blow of Places flopping lmao :,)

Nice to see some Sia domination here, the Move Your Body remix really is great and has such hit potential, fingers crossed that now The Greatest has wore off the label promote that as the next single :D

Yep, so I've read! Yes that's true!

I do love Sia, I'm so glad she's finally found success so far into her career. Agree with you about the MYB remix, I'm confused as to why they didn't just push that as the single instead of the new single version!

Hey Rich!

I missed your top 100 :o I shall say what I loved from it now to make up for it :P

I bolded my favourites YES AT YOUR NUMBER ONE!!!

Thanks Harry! Rockabye is really special <3

Those 2 entries at #8 & #9 were both outstanding! Emoji actually made my year end top 100 too, plus I love that vid so much!

As for Ilumbarada what an epic, thanks for introducing me to it.

Very good #1 too, not my fave of theirs but they always manage to bring something special to the table & it was quite the iconic collab.

I love your top 2! Poli was robbed at Eurovision this year! Probably my favourite performance on the night.

Rockabye has done astoundingly well as such a late release to be your total #1 of the year! It will be coming up on my chart a bit later on!

Good to hear you were a fan, particularly a big fan of Emoji, yes that vid is pretty epic. An obvious premise perhaps but executed so well.

I love your top 2! Poli was robbed at Eurovision this year! Probably my favourite performance on the night.

Agree about Poli, I mean 4th was amazing for her but it was musically the best song this year by some stretch for me, so I do wish it had got top three, certainly over that dated Russian entry!

Yes, it was nearly Poli at the top but then I realised that Rockabye had been my biggest 'obsession' of the year, and had crammed as many playcounts into two months as Poli managed across the whole year. It was pretty close though!

Hey Rich! So sorry for not commenting more, but my favourites from your top 40:

1. Clean Bandit feat Sean Paul and Anne-Marie - Rockabye This really is a special track I think, I don't think I've seen anyone actually hating this on Buzzjack? :o It's a breath of fresh air in the pop scene for sure!

2. Poli Genova - If Love Was A Crime

3. Delta Goodrem feat Gizzle - Enough My favourite from Delta this year too  great to see Wings of the Wild as your #1 album, no surprise but totally deserved!

4. Frances - Don't Worry About Me

6. All Saints - One Strike

10. Sia - Move Your Body (Alan Walker Remix)

12. Sia feat Kendrick Lamar - The Greatest

15. Little Mix - Shout Out To My Ex

17. Frans - If I Were Sorry Glad you're in the "love" camp for this one! I can see why many Eurovision fans may hate it but I don't think it's all deserved, it's such a charming little track and without the Eurovision tag, I have no doubts that it would've been a UK smash hit.

19. All Saints - One Woman Man

20. Delta Goodrem - Dear Life

22. Jonas Blue feat JP Cooper - Perfect Strangers

23. Alan Walker - Faded

25. Sia feat Sean Paul - Cheap Thrills

28. Starley - Call On Me (Ryan Riback Remix)

30. Joe and Jake - You're Not Alone The best UK entry in a while I think! Didn't deserve its harsh placing in the results.

34. Zara Larsson - Lush Life

35. The Veronicas - In My Blood

37. Jorja Smith - Blue Lights One of the best BJSC discoveries of the year for me, totally unexpected but her voice is stunning and it's a really unique track.

38. Lukas Graham - 7 Years

40. Lady Gaga - Million Reasons

Fantastic as always Rich
