I get why these flopped (and I was amazed Boris Qed in the first place) but two of my absolute fave entries I've ever sent

A recent one has definitely been Pale Blue's Breathe from this year, I know it was a bit of a risk but this was one of the most unique, dark and captivating songs and it still just stung that it couldn't go further :(

This was super lucky to even qualify and I didn't expect much better for it but it definitely deserved better. xx

 

Pretty much all of my DNQs since this thread was posted I do kind of get even if I still love the songs. This is probably the only one that I was kind of surprised to see DNQ, only because it was one of my entries that I hoped would appeal to pop voters and it pretty much failed entirely to do so:

Was shocked with the DNQ for this. It did smash in Rejects in the end though.

 

I’ve had a few others I felt should have done better - but most of those either just failed to qualify or still did alright like Alice Chater, but definitely felt it and Winona Oak should have done a bit better - at least as good as their previous (inferior) entries.

I think it based around one of his compositions, although I'm not sure which one if I'm honest...

This is the only DNQ I'm surprised didn't make it, and I think it's the best SUMNI sent... while others have come top 10/15 :(
