Wait when did Sharon get fired from the Vic too??

Last I saw she was staying on for shoe money and something to do even though I'd never seen her in the Vic before last week!!

The Carter money worries storyline is gone beyond boring right now, it is as interesting as watching paint dry. Bringing in managers and having to pay Sharon made no sense at all. That said, Woody could be a good character, Lee Ryan isnt a bad actor by any means but like all the cast he will suffer from getting ridiculously boring storylines that very few will care about. He most likely joined the show at the wrong time. I look forward to Linda returning and sorting out the pub once and for all.

The bullying storyline that Louise is involved in is all over the place as the writers dont appear to know what they are doing with the character but i could say the same for Vincent, Max, Lauren, Jane, Ian, Kathy, Abi, Ben, Donna, Jai.....the list goes on.

I don't like how Sharon and Michelle allow Louise to treat them like dirt, especially in front of Denny. Send her back to her mother!

Exactly, why is Louise even staying there? Surely Lisa would have snatched her back?

Yeah I was wondering why Louise is still about??

Also why is Sharon suddenly out at the Vic (after suddenly being in it)? The last episode Tracey was sacked so Sharon could have extra shoe money.

The writing is so lazy, they could have at least made Lisa ill or she got a job or something and Louise didn't want to move away with her, given they don't seem to be bothering bringing her back.
That was vile, what they did to Bex was disgusting but this was another level, she legit could have died. I assume they drugged her? Surely this has to be the end of it, it's just horrible to watch and those involved are quite frankly the most vile characters ever.

Ok genuinely had enough of Madison and Alexandra now. What even was that behaviour... because of Travis?! Ridiculous. Harrowing to watch and really felt sorry for Louise for the first time in ages.

Seriously hope those two get their comeuppance!

Everytime I've tuned into this, all I is that guy filming everything and it's really annoying me.
In other news, Sharon hardly winning mother of the year. Allowing Louise to fraternise with girls that influenced her into bullying Bex, sending her only son to young men that can't even keep him at their house and all so she can have a night out with her bestie. I can't think of many parents who would leave teenagers to something even as simple as a pyjama party...

Tbh that was the first time I've ever believed in this bullying storyline. All the stuff with Bex just didn't ring true, like it was just what middle-aged people think bullying is like in 2017 rather than the reality, but what happened tonight felt more realistic. I could believe in 15/16 year olds being that irresponsible with alcohol when it's so new to them and that spiking someone would seem 'funny' whilst also spiteful. The ending was a welcome return to the dark, gritty Eastenders I love. Ending up in that state is not a pretty picture and it's good that this is being truthfully portrayed.

On a down side, are we really meant to believe Denise has had to resort to eating out of bins? She may only have pasta and a few tins at home but surely that's better than this alternative? Plus she has a financially secure boyfriend and a rich sister; swallow your pride, woman! Notice her expensive manicure too.

I completely agree with Liam. The Denise plot came out of nowhere like surely she can afford a loaf of bread or something wth?

Also the teenage party / drink spiking thing was very realistic and done brilliantly. I actually felt queasy watching it! I know everyone hates the two girls and wants the story to end but bullying by definition is something that goes on for a looong time so I welcome the producers still hammering it home for us. The Bex storyline had like NO resolution so I'm glad it's being brought back and continuing.

Last night's episode was so harrowing and the show hasn't affected me like it did in such a long time.

A party called The Rubbish Party which has a single policy of ensuring bins are collected regularly have won a Council seat in Scotland. Maybe the Eastenders writers really are onto something and were hitting the real issues head on :kink:
Denise rummaging through bins after being out of work for a month is giving me Bianca sawing up chicken nuggets teas.
I'm nbf surely she'd just sign on, yes it's a bit embarrassing and I know she's a strong stubborn woman but I'm sure she'd sign on rather than starve?!
