Is put it down to the song being sh!t

Yeah this really. Cold Water sounded absolutely massive when I first heard it & was bang on trend at time of release, even factoring the Bieber name out of the equation.

Run Up sounds terrible by comparison.

Click on the above relevant links.

But Lean On & Light It Up became big hits because they were good songs? I really don't see anything in this one (other than the minor selling power of Nicki Minaj combined with that of PARTYNEXTDOOR)
Didn't expect Lucy Spraggan to have so much relevance nowadays though! :o

Never underestimate the hardcore lesbian market!

M.O at #41 :( I hope it's not to late to go top 40..... my gut feeling says it won't ever make it :(
Hoping "No Lie" and "Be the One" can be T10 hits for Dua Lipa - I thought I'd grown bored of the latter after it was released all that time ago, but I'm really enjoying it again now. The former is just an outright banger, needs to hit T10 before "Scared to Be Lonely" picks up momentum.
With SOYs first mids sales its set to equal last weeks 120k again this week so the top 2 could be static for a fair bit longer yet!

Shape of You's chart units today are 10% down on the same period last week.

On the current trajectory, it's probably heading for around 108k units by Thursday night.

You're forgetting that the music video came out today

You're forgetting that the music video came out today

I wasn't forgetting - I didn't know!

It'll be interesting to see if that arrests the gradual decline of Shape Of You, as it didn't work for Castle On The Hill.

The video for that came out seven days ago, but the track still finished the week 10.8% down on its chart units from the previous week.

I hope this Major Lazer track is to them what 'Hype' was for Calvin Harris.

I don't think it's that offensive. I'd assume once airplay kicks in, it'll be steady. Not the sort of song to smash straight in at the top.

Does that factor in the missing data, SOY would be on around 50k with that.

Such a shame for M.O., if you have been following them like I have you will know how hard they've been working to get this to be a hit :(. One of my faves at the moment and I'm worried they won't have much more life in them soon.
Yeah, what ML Hammer said. It's definitely a grower! Tbh if anything I can see it doing a Light It Up, with a slighlty shorter chart run and probably only one or two weeks low top ten - but I feel as though it will be a slow-burning hit.
I dont understand why 'Not In Love' hasn't taken off like 'Who Do You Think Of'..... it's such a shame as I find it even better. With A-list radio 1 support I really thought it would at least go top 40... it's not taking off on Spotify like the former did either :(.... brings back all my sad memories for Neon Jungle :(.

Neon Jungle  Really loved them at the time, what on earth happened to them? (they were by far and away my favourite girlband!)

M.O. look like they could scrape the top 40 this week.

I know it all comes down to subjective opinion, but I can see exactly why it isn't.

By the time Neon Jungle released their album, it's safe to say they missed the boat and the hype/momentum had pretty much evaoprated. They had potential. :(

The same data sources were missing last Monday too (except with Tesco on Saturday missing this week, which I imagine is of minimal significance), so it's almost a like-for-like comparison.
