February 22, 20179 yr Hope Lana Del Rey can creep in tomorrow but I doubt she will due to the BRITs effect
February 22, 20179 yr Author Ed Sheeran might just grab #3 in the albums, just depends on Ryan Adams how much he sells today and tomorrow.
February 22, 20179 yr Just wondering if there is any chance these new songs that are supposedly being performed tonight could go Top 40 on Friday? I can't see a new song selling more than 14k in 28 hours. Goodbye Sia and Linkin Park :yahoo: A big yay at Martin Jensen finally debuting in the mids. :w00t:
February 22, 20179 yr I can't see a new song selling more than 14k in 28 hours. Probably more like 11k? If the Ed Sheeran track is released I can see it coming close to 11k.
February 22, 20179 yr Probably more like 11k? If the Ed Sheeran track is released I can see it coming close to 11k. Sorry, you're right. Ciao Adios sold only 10,665 copies last week at #40. I was thinking about some weeks ago, the #40 sales were higher than this.
February 22, 20179 yr but if I track is put on Spotify tonight ( so, available to stream on Thu), the occ won't count its streams, as Spotify never provides Thu data on time, and the occ cannot estimate a brand new Thu release right?

I was thinking about some weeks ago, the #40 sales were higher than this. That was in the days of the 100:1 ratio :magic: but if I track is put on Spotify tonight ( so, available to stream on Thu), the occ won't count its streams, as Spotify never provides Thu data on time, and the occ cannot estimate a brand new Thu release right? Correct!
February 22, 20179 yr Disappointing that Take That have only managed 2k in sales since Monday's update. Pleased that Anne-Marie has managed to hang on to Top 20 and James Arthur is Top 30 - Although I was expecting a bigger boost for him with the 59p reduction etc.,
February 22, 20179 yr The Chainsmokers and Coldplay have now released - a late contender for the top 100 perhaps.

Pleased that Anne-Marie has managed to hang on to Top 20 and James Arthur is Top 30 - Although I was expecting a bigger boost for him with the 59p reduction etc., Indeed at Take That, could fall from top 15 out of the top 40 next week if it doesn't have an upward turn in sales!
February 22, 20179 yr 2K is disappointing but its an improvement on selling only 1k from Monday to Tuesday. They should have 23,000 by end of week which sadly wont be enough for top 10.
February 22, 20179 yr As Ed performed "Castle On The Hill" at the Brits (as well as "Shape Of You") what chance it climbs to number 3 to secure the Top 3 this week?
February 22, 20179 yr Grr! Solo Dance has plummeted to #93 on iTunes after The Brits. I don't think Martin Jensen will be top 40 this Friday then. :(
February 22, 20179 yr Author Grr! Solo Dance has plummeted to #93 on iTunes after The Brits. I don't think Martin Jensen will be top 40 this Friday then. :( Surely he won't fall that much, with just a few hours and Thursday's streams are usually a bit left field.
February 23, 20179 yr Jensen could get pushed down by increased streams for established songs but thursdays streams will be as big as they have been impressive this week so it's hit or miss whether he will sneak in!
February 23, 20179 yr Indeed at Take That, could fall from top 15 out of the top 40 next week if it doesn't have an upward turn in sales! I think they will react with a 59p price tag next week and hopefully Polydor will spend some £££ and get them on Spotify playlists!
February 23, 20179 yr The 1975 - I like it when you sleep, for you are so beautiful yet so unaware of it ^ That is NEVER the name of their album!!
February 23, 20179 yr Is Katy at #6 on the Wednesday update? Or still 8? She was 8 yesterday, but is up to 6 today, with top 5 in sight for tomorrow. Lana is 39, hopefully she manages to stay there among the chaos of the Brits.
