Why couldn't people have supported All Saints' comeback like this?
Surely Steps are coming for a 146-OUT chart run?

Or maybe a 1-4-6... Chart run? :kink:

Remember that Steps won't have good streaming because their demographic don't generally stream and the single is low down on the New Music Friday playlist.

It will probably just make the top 40, still impressive mind.

The subtitle should be 'Steptacular return' :P

I'm in love with their new song. <3

Honestly I didn't even know Steps had a new single, due to laptop issues over the past fortnight. Nice to see them back in the official chart though, not sure how high it will chart among all the Ed Sheeran claptrap.
I'm so amazed at Steps getting a Top 5 on iTunes when it's barely passed 10am! I know it will only be a couple of 2k or whatever at this point but that's some great dedication and suggests their album could do very well (if Ed Sheeran's reign has died down a bit by then, could we be seeing another surprise #1 album for them?).

Ed will still be selling well above everyone else by April 21st, Steps could definitely get a #2 album though.

Starting to think their new single will 'do a Take That' and actually make the top 20, although Ed's album tracks may stop that.

I want Kworb to update to see how far they are away from 2 as the gap from the last update suggests a fairly big lead for the top 2. But top 3 after just over 10 hours is an amazing result

Wow @ Steps, never expected it to do quite THIS well! I've just listened to it and it's actually quite a fun little song in a very nostalgic 2001 kinda way :D

I'm not the biggest Louisa fan but for what it's worth I really like the new single, I'm not sure why it's getting so much negativity on here?

The Stargate/Sia/Pink song, however, is underwhelming, I was expecting much bigger things from it :(

 29. Julia Michaels - Issues

I'm going to say this will be top 10 by the end of the week. It's just got playlisted by R1 and promoted to front page on Hot Songs!

I have to agree with Ed, with Mother's Day which falls on the last Sunday of March. Not sure how long the album tracks will clutter up the chart, I'm hoping some of those will start to fade away a bit.

Then he is doing Glastonbury lol so he is pretty much set up for the year.

No, just giving an opinion. I don't know Steps, just know that one of them was on Big Brother with Rylan.

And you call yourself a music fan.....
