I wouldn't be so sure. 'Galway Girl' is going to be MASSIVE, probably set to spend ages at #1 just like SOY did.

 

It'll give Clean Bandit another top 3 I guess which would be brilliant for them.

Wonderful to see Joe McEldery still making music, he is likely to have a new album on the way.

 

Out in the summer, I believe.

The new Clean Bandit song is no 'Rockabye', doubt it will go to #1 officially, especially with Ed's takeover!

 

For me it's WAAAAY better than 'Rockabye'.

Interesting that Perfect has fallen to #20 now, I presume he'll release it as a future single but it looks unlikely to be the next Thinking Out Loud. I wonder if Ed will retract his statement about it being the best song he's ever written? I can't imagine why he thought that anyway, it comes across as a cynical boyband love song whereas Thinking Out Loud sounds more genuine and has more class to it to my ears.

although with it being a "comedy" song, it'll likely not get enough streaming necessary to make number one, and it'll have a short chart life.

 

I think that's probably why he's on it, from their point of view they probably think anything with his name on it will amass the streams.
