That is heartbreaking.

:o those Drake tracks they are slowly creeping up the top 40 end. Just when the Ed Sheeran tracks are tailing off, the chart system is a mess.

Surely that's just the iTunes Chart though? Genuine sales for these songs.

I haven't looked at Spotify, are Drake's tracks showing on there yet, otherwise they won't chart that high officially.

That will probably need another boost from somewhere, I can see it slowly decreasing eventually as the promotion from the Voice will start wearing off, at some point.

I'm sure Drake will have a similar effect on Spotify. He has a front page banner and promoted This Is Drake playlist.

TBH if Drake takes over in the style of Ed Sheeran it'd be "so bad is good" situation, as OCC reps were telling that Ed Sheeran situation is outstanding so it won't happen in a big while, so there's no need to change the rules!

In the US, Portland is the highest at 8, followed by Passionfruit, Free Smoke, Teenage Fever and Gyalchester in the top 40
