Why do you mention the genre/subgenre of a song in every single post?

Ha, I've often wondered this too.

So glad to see 'Mask Off' taking off, Future is looong overdue a hit.

Well in the case of Get Together I mentioned it to emphasise that it doesn't really conform to any popular subgenre at the minute imo.

Also yes I admit I do like categorising songs into genres, which makes it easier to see what genre trends are happening in the charts!

Anyway can Get Together start a trend for this sort of house please to replace tired tropical house? :D

You ought to check out some afro house artists if you like that, which to me is what the genre of Get It Together is.

Black Coffee is great - he has a good remix of In Common by Alicia Keys too - but of a similar vibe are Black Motion (check out Imali, Rainbow and It's You especially).

Some other deep house acts you'd like from South Africa are DJ Kent (Spin My World, Love You Still and Your Love are highlights) and Goldfish (Moonwalk Away and Deep Of The Night are brill).

This sounds like a plug for loads of my old BJSC flops (Goldfish excepted) but I absolutely LOVE afro house and South African deep house and love that Drake has brought it to the mainstream.

Louisa performing Best Behaviour on Takeaway

Fingers crossed that gets it at least top 15 on itunes

So happy blatantly down to the connection between ITV, Simon and Ant and Dec..thank god!

I thought Get Together was similar subgenre wise to the likes of Just Say by KDA and Tinashe, they both are very jazzy and have that sort of loungey feel to them.

Will have to listen to some of those songs you mentioned.

Well at least a song from a different subgenre Get Together charting is one good thing about the album tracks charting, I wonder eventually will there be some random trance track on some popular artist's album (Calvin maybe when he eventually releases) that would allow a top 40 hit in this genre again.....:D

Off-topic but if anyone fancies taking part in Teams 2017 in The Lounge, there are three further spaces available, so if you fancy signing up, head to this thread! ^_^

Not Rich still trying to peddle that 'Spin My World' flop! :D

Hoping Syco can get the promo front out on both accounts ASAP. Hoping 'Best Behaviour' at least hits iTunes top 15 after Saturday Night Takeaway. Also hope the video isn't too long away as they need to time everything to make sure it can get top 40 officially.

They really need to do something major to turn 'Best Behaviour' into a hit. It's struggling on Spotify even with Hot Hits UK.

'So Good' went top 50 on Spotify within 7 days IIRC.

They are doing something. Big promo slot on Saturday. So Good had an X Factor performance straight away.

True, but I hope they have something else lined up for after the SNT performance.
