I loved Yasmeen finally having her "I'm not scared of you, you have no power" moment but I'd rather she had a chance to say that as Geoff was sent down. The trial was brilliant, everything has been done brilliantly other than it being dragged on a bit as of late, so for that to be the ending I'm just like "is that it??", all that build up all year for that.

As fantastic an actor as Ian Bartholomew has been, I'm glad that Geoff's story is over and I'm excited to see Yasmeen move with the story as there's still a long way to go for her.

I'm quite thankful that the production restrictions prevented the show from doing anything too overdramatic tbh. The coercive control storyline has been so rooted in truth and dealt with sensitively that I think anything too sensationalised would have done it an injustice. The scene back in May when Yasmeen attacked Geoff was heart-stopping television and seeing Geoff realise he was losing his control was a triumphant moment, I don't think it was necessary to try and out-do everything we've seen so far. Of course, this is by no means 'the ending' either, it's merely the start of a new chapter and I'm looking forward to seeing Yasmeen's journey continue.

I’m just bored of all these storylines have a death ending.

It would have been so much better seen him arrested, it’s such an easy way out!

Ya the death ending is an easy way out, I much prefer seeing characters getting their just deserts going to hail plus it leaves the door open for a future return.
I think an arrest ending would have been far more justifiable... the lengths Yas would need to go to to get him convicted... plus I actually quite like the Geoff character... were just going to have Yas moping about for the next 6 months (Daniel Barlow anyone?). The death was slightly iconic with him being surrounded by the chickens though...
I thought that episode was somewhat terrifying for Corrie  the bit in the attic when the power went out and the dummies I jumped out of my skin! Not what you expect from Corrie!
It was good but i hate the whole bulldozing the street storyline, its been done so many times and you just know its never going to happen.
It wasn't good at all. For the 60th anniversary week it was terrible, I think most fans expected better
Ya i think its simon aswell.

It does look that way, yes but they may be red herrings.

It's not Simon they are making it too obvious I think, same with Sarah. I reckon it's gonna be someone shocking like Daniel!
I see Adam blaming Gary but eventually comes out it wasn’t Gary!
