Strings in dance music makes dance songs sound more powerful I think. April 9, 20178 yr I'm really addicted to this, I love strings in dance music and the whole thing feels so perfectly summery. I wish this could become a top 40 hit if at all possible, but I figure that streaming will put that idea to bed :(

Kiss have playlisted ''Baby'' and so have Capital! :o, It wouldn''t surprise me if Radio 1 decided to playlist ''Baby'' as it''s been played twice on their radio station although I heavily doubt they will playlist it due to Anton connection with Capital. It's currently 48 on iTunes, so it would't surprise me if it manages a new sales peak this week

April 12, 20178 yr Why? Radio 1 had supported every Pixie related single until 'Nasty' but they still invited her into the studio a lot! She's had one disappointing era and she's still incredibly young so with the right iTunes performance and right song, I'm confident that Radio 1 would happily play her! We all call 'Young Foolish And Happy' a massive flop but it still managed to pass 120,000 sales which was quite decent in the album sales climate!
April 12, 20178 yr They've dumped her, they haven't playlisted anything from her in 5 years now. Besides, they playlisted 'Alone No More' little over a year ago so I don't think it'd be Anton preventing it.
April 12, 20178 yr I can see them playlisting this if it cotninues upwards on iTunes. Radio 1 often playlist featured artists where the lead artist they'd snub. See Changing Ft. Paloma Faith, Hype Ft. Dizzee Rascal etc.
April 12, 20178 yr If it was just her or her featuring someone else I'd say she has no chance of Radio One support but obviously that's not the case and the fact Capital and Kiss have supported it gives me great hope! :o I have no idea why Nasty wasn't playlisted by Radio One back in 2014, the YFH still produced three top 10 singles and went gold.
