Any ideas how to stop this? I can't scroll down buzzjack pages on the old macbook (fine on galaxy tab) it just forces me to go back to the top of the page - it must be the embedded adverts causing it as it seems OK when there isnt one. I think.

It's my dad's old MacBook and he has forgotten passwords so updates are a thing of the past, sadly. If it's an update causing it I guess I will have to upgrade to a new laptop as I cant give up buzzjack and need a laptop access for it....!

I had this a couple of weeks or so, it was incredibly frustrating!! I think the adverts were always for British Airways for me. It only happened for one day for me though.
this happened to me as well last night when I was on Safari but then I switched to Chrome and haven't had this problem since. Maybe it's a browser issue?

Thanks all glad its not just me!

I will give it a few days and try a different browser if it keeps on

Cheers!

This happened to me a month ago, and I use google chrome, how to get rid, easy, refresh the page a few times before use, it worked for me.

Thanks for the tip Mart!n! B-)

I don't have the same issue but maybe it is related but on Buzzjack it won't let me use my mouse scroll wheel 90% of the time to scroll down a page (have to use the sidebar to drag the page down), but it is perfectly fine on every other site.

I keep getting this, it's a video advert at the top post of each page and it's like it forces you to stick there unable to move. It might disappear if you refresh it a few times, if you're lucky.

It's piss annoying.

I just had this for the first time on my phone, couldn't tell what the ad was for. Hasn't happened on my laptop or desktop yet!
Try an ad blocking add-on (Adblock, Adblock Plus or similar) to your browser. Maybe.

I've had this quite a bit just lately but it doesn't happen on any other website. Glad it's not just me.

It's GoCompare for me this time - doubly irritating when you're trying to read a thread then a fella in a moustache starts singing :P

edit: Also some advert about not dropping bombs on Yemen that keeps playing even when I mute the volume and pause the video
