Suggests that the signs aren't good over Walker in that case. I'm guessing they'll only buy one RB and make Maffeo a rotation option. If they bring in another CB as well, they might try out that weird 3-2-4-1 formation Pep used a few times in the autumn/winter again.

Pisses me off about these articles saying that a player wants to leave the club and then ends up staying. Just an excuse for more column inches if you ask me.

Almost certain this is the case with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain too.

Constantly linked with Liverpool, but I'm sure he'll end up staying at Arsenal. It's just his agent trying to speed up the new contract and push Arsenal into offering more money

Aubameyang could be interested in a move to Liverpool for about £61m possibly from Dortmund. Just rumours though at the moment.

I can't see it myself. Apparently Salah is just about a done-deal though!

Dani Alves to Man City is a strange one. I think he would be quality even at his age. I wonder if they will go for him and a younger right-back as back-up.

Live footage of United Twitter over the Ronaldo rumours and Liverpool Twitter as the club attempt to complete a decent signing without f***ing it up and getting threatened with being reported for an illegal approach:

I don't think Ronaldo will leave Real. If he does, then we'd be first in line and we'd spend whatever it took knowing that we'd make more than twice that in commercial revenue and shirt sales.

Aubameyang would be a superb signing for Liverpool if they could pull it off. Tho if they're breaking the club record for Salah at €40m +€5m add ons then also shelling out €70m in the same window? Be prepared to never chat shit about United's spending power again. We made £570m last year in revenue, unlike massive-part-of-the-reason-FFP-exists City and Chelsea we actually spend within our means.

As I suspected, the noise about him leaving is just so Real Madrid will foot his tax bill (or if he does leave, any club hat he goes to). Be a good signing of course.

I really don't think we are going to get Aubameyang. For starters I don't trust any of the sources. I can't actually see us signing another striker unless Sturridge leaves (which is unlikely at the moment). I suspect we'll spend a fair amount this summer (like most clubs). We have made net profit the last two summers in transfers. I still can't see us spending loads though.

Aubameyang I don't believe in the slightest. I am sure we are interested. I mean who wouldn't be?

He'll have better options though from clubs with greater pulling power than ourselves

I've had a proper look at our squad again. Despite all the usual panic from Liverpool fans that we're yet to sign anyone, I honestly think we only need 4 players and then we'll be set for the season. That would be Salah who looks close to joining, a central defender (Still think Van Dijk is a possibility), a central/attacking midfielder and a left-back. So around a £150m spend I would say and then we're likely to bring in money from Sakho, Markovic etc. too.

This is obviously assuming that Sturridge stays, but I wouldn't say there needs to be wholesale changes. Just a bit more depth would be great and an upgrade on Lovren at CB.

Although, despite all that, I sure wouldn't be against us bringing in someone like Aubameyang. I unfortunately just can't see that happening under these owners.

Burton Albion have signed Scottish Premiership top scorer Liam Boyce from Ross County!

"AS's closest journalist to Jorge Mendes saying today that Ronaldo has been calmed down by Perez defense of him and no longer wants to leave"

Oh look at that

*waits for news of Ronaldos pay rise*

That's as surprising as the news that the pope is a catholic or that Trump and May are unfit to lead their respective nations.

Darren Fletcher has moved to Stoke from West Brom and he will officially become a Stoke player from July 1st.

Or Real Madrid have agreed to pay his tax bill :D

Liverpool look to be signing Salah! Exciting one again, probably go under the radar because he was poor at Chelsea, but I actually think he is a fantastic signing. Ticks all the right boxes for what we lack and has Champions League experience.

According to Sky Sports News Man United and Chelsea are linked with Robert Lewandowski. If we signed him I would be pleased but I cant see him leaving Bayern Munich.

Bayern have monumentally shat on that story by threatening to report clubs to FIFA.

Sky Sources = Sky bet is looking a bit low on profit today so let's make up some shite to get gullible morons to waste money betting on something that's completely untrue and will never happen

Great stats last season in serie A - annoyed he didn't join us when he went to Chelsea though!

Glad he didn't to be honest. He's improved a lot since then
