Yeah that's an outstanding bit of business from Spurs really. Walker wanted out anyway & Trippier is a more than competent replacement who was flinging in plenty of assists at the back of last season as well.

So City have potentially solved part of their defensive issues but if (I mean when) Kompany gets injured again are they still relying on Stones & Otamendi???

Yeah great business from them. They'll be much better off putting that money towards an attacker. Someone more competent than Janssen.

I'm just not that fussed on fullbacks, in general, to be honest. I've seen Liverpool nearly win the league with Aly Cissokho and Jon Flanagan in 13/14 and we did pretty well with James Milner at LB last season. For that reason, I'll happily see us buy Andy Robertson (reportedly going to cost £8m) if that means we get to spend the remaining money on players who will genuinely make a difference in either penalty box.

I guess you could say it's a bit different with Man City though as they have the money to spend big on a number of positions.

I read somewhere if prices were adjusted for inflation then Glen Johnson would have been worth about £65m in todays market! Crazy prices, but Spurs had the upper hand. Crazy to think Shaw, Stones and Walker are 3 of the most expensive defenders of all time...

Indeed mad to think those 3 are the most expensive defenders of all time.

A crazy rumour of Chelsea interested in Aguero.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is staying Borussia Dortmund following rumours of him moving to Chelsea.

West Ham have signed Joe Hart on loan and look to be signing Arnaoutovic from Stoke.

Personally, while I think both clubs are shopping at a level below, I feel West Ham's signings are better then Everton's...

Said to be £24m for Arnautovic that West Ham are paying Stoke.

£20m up front, £4m if we make Europe. So £20m.

Szczesny set to join Juventus from Arsenal for about £10 million it appears.

I will always remember his hilarious reaction to conceding a goal against Southampton in the 2014/15 season when the first thing he did was reach for the water bottle

RB Leipzig have rejected a £66m bid most likely Liverpool for Keita.

Andrew Robertson looks likely to move to Liverpool from Hull City for £8m rising to £10m on add-ons.

Think Liverpool will up their bid more for Keita, can see us going to £75.

Morata looks to be joining Chelsea.

Is he any good?

Who, Keita? Yes is the answer to that. If we sign him, he will go a long, long way to solving the major problem we came across last year. Only seen him a couple of times, but he was always the standout. Think the fact that we're willing to spend a massive sum on him shows how much Klopp likes him.

Robertson will be one of the signings of the season!

Can't say I've seen too much of him, but he seems like a sensible signing. Low gamble signing and offers Milner some rest.
