Looks like alt-J will miss the top 5 then but still not too bad sales for them.

I think there is some chance Ariana could actually get #1 now that she is on the Hot Hits UK playlist and with such a massive lead on iTunes, but certainly top 2 must be in the bag now anyway. Good showing.

Little chance of Ariana getting to #1 in the albums but she should be able to make the Top 10.

Ed Sheeran will likely return to #1 - if everything sells at the same rate they did yesterday for the rest of the week, he would have made it; Roger would be #3; Dua would climb into the Top 5; All Time Low and alt-J would be pushed out.

I suppose we don't know how many Albums Ariana has sold today, will be surprised if she doesn't make the Top 3, also think Rag 'N' Bone Man will somehow continue his run in Top 5 (possibly at expense of Dua).

How far behind alt J are

Ed and Dua Lipa?

Thanks

Fantastic to see One Last Time is going to at least become a #2 hit. I think #1 is doable, especially going by the 15k sold yesterday.
I'm streaming OLT all day everyday until Friday but Despacito is too strong on streaming. Be interesting to see the next Spotify update.
Are you referring to the sales figures or the quality of the music?

Quality of the music, i would not be a fan of any of the artists currently occupying the top 3.

Have to say, I thought Halsey would have sold more than 4.5k, given that she has a fairly substantial fanbase, and that Dua Lipa isn't even in the top 5 in the midweek, especially because her album was up for pre-order for so long

All Time Low will undoubtedly drop significantly over the week, and disappointing figures for Alt-J as well I think.

I have no clue how things will go this week, especially places 5-12

So One Last Time is coming for ~70k in total this week?

Today will be telling in terms of how much streaming One Last Time gets and how many units it sells today. If it gets a huge boost in streams then it should be number one come Friday.

Not quite^ :P they peaked at #26 (I recall this as I was gutted it just missed a chart show play at the time)

I think 5AM will miss the top 100 altogether like Honey G, they're only gonna freefall from there. Deserving really as it's unlistenable.

Poor 5 after midnight dven reggie n hollie got top 25

pedantic, I know, but Reggie 'N' Bollie only made #26. :P

Still funny that 5AM probably won't even make top 40, though.

Only due to Manchester songs coming in..

Fairly sure 5AM won't miss the top 100 :kink: but top 40 is looking very unlikely right now! It's already sold enough to make the top 100 on a normal week and it's not gonna sell nothing for the rest of the week.
I'd say 80k

and Despacito probably 100k

Whoops my bad yes I remember that now :P

But yes they at 29 before the Manchester tracks invade so you can't really blame them for them charting low they had a bgt semi final performance too I they probably would have scraped top 40 without the Manchester tracks at very best
