Would love it too but a instant grat live version of a so far non charting song but 2 artists not big on streaming is hardly going to have the compilers rushing to add them - as always I’d love to be proved wrong but try to be realistic.

It is a realistic view to be fair. The song should manage another week on the sales chart only this week if nothing else.

Jack has album on pre-order and tour tickets on sale so lets see how the instant grat does. Kylie fans will download it anyway, especially if Jack and Kylie tweet about it..... even if the track is low down on New Music Friday it will do better streaming than they have done yet lol.

 

They need to reduce one version to 59p too......

Yeah, price reductions are revealed midnight on Fridays. I don't have much hope but it would of course be fantastic and would really benefit ahead of Michael McIntyre on Saturday.

I don’t think they’ll bother reducing it - they are (as the recent MW interview that got posted showed) 100% concentrating on albums - the singles are just additions to getting the album sales they want. Now that Jack has also signed with BMG this collab and single was a strategic move to introduce him back into the market place.

First I heard of this song was on Jonathan Ross... not impressed easily her worse duet! :cry:

Up to #32 now - going into Friday in a strong position especially with the live version which I’m expecting will at least go Top 50 briefly.

As expected no 59p reduction etc., but love the live version from Jacks album :wub: Will help it pick up a few extra sales and streams.

And not on New Music Friday... as if that was ever going to happen! :P

 

Not too keen on the live version. I mean, it could be good, like those strings are lovely, but the vocals are very processed, as if they've tried to turn a live version into a studio version.
