Yes no others outside of Dancing went T20

Stop Me From Falling with Gente De Zona got to #11 on iTunes! When combined with the album version, the song managed #7. I think the album version peaked at #21. A little frustrating that both versions didn't quite make the Top 10/20 respectively.

We also cannot forget those pre ordering form Jack Savoretti album of his website are getting it as instant grat too, even if you are pre ordering the CD

I’ve never known single tracks change price mid week - album prices often move during the week (especially when an act is close to being #1 etc.,) but single price reductions seem to strictly happen only on a Friday at midnight.

Not watched the performance yet but I'm thrilled to see Kylie back in the Top 10! I imagine it'll will drop a little but fingers crossed it can hang around and remain comfortably Top 40.

 

What have responses online been like? A lot more positive than her X Factor performance I hope!

Very positive indeed. The Kylieoake was good too.

Everyone has been loving her dress also

I'm not getting my hopes up for a Top 100 entry for this tbh. It's wonderful to see her so high up on iTunes, but you have to bear in mind how dire sales are currently. #5 in the download chart this week - Rita Ora's Let You Love Me - barely sold more than 5,000 downloads.

 

When you factor in streaming for the official Top 100 chart, Kylie would need approaching 6,000 sales to make it inside the Top 100. She'd need around 7,500 for Top 75. I don't think it's achievable, unless MTSWY actually goes Top 3 on iTunes and stays there for the rest of the week.

I think Kylie can maybe take #6 on iTunes, but #5 is so far ahead that it seems like a pipe dream.

Il take number 6 then a steady run for the remainder of the week.

It is getting some streaming but hardly anything, I think about 8,000 streams a day worldwide lol so ....

 

Pity there isn't a a Michael McEntyre repeat on BBC1 during week. Actually it is repeated 11.15pm on Wednesday Eve so that will give it a little boost for Thursday's sales

 

A 59p version would help.

 

If Kylie fans bought the Live version that would easily get more but she has not mentioned Jack's album yet and the song.

 

Ultimately though they have had time to get it on at least a few Spotify/Apple playlists over last few weeks in anticipation and they haven't

 

A 99p EP with all three songs would get it zooming up packaged as a Winter Xmas EP or something and like Dancing fans would lap it up.

 

It will probably drop significantly again today but still it's had legs on Itunes

Yep I think it will fall short - another performance could have secured it but regardless 5th single into the campaign and Top 10 on iTunes I’m happy with and it’ll help album sales in the all important Q4.

Number 8 at the moment which is still great.
