Shangela is SO iconic. Her talking heads. Her runway this week. 10/10.

 

Sorry but I think Trixie is an amazing drag queen but she's not a good Drag Race contestant. Her brand just doesn't gel with the show.

Trixie's 15 year old straight girl fanbase were shook at this.

Sadly i am inclined to agree after this past few weeks, I am a huge fan of hers but I think it needs to be on her own terms. When she can just sort of ad lib whatever on her online shows or her tours etc she is hilarious but with more of a structure she seems to not have the same opportunities and just doesn't click as much. I think we all thought, myself included, that she would steamroll this series because she's been so hilarious on Unnhh, Tbe Trixie And Katya Show etc, and is in general a hilarious person, but as I said it seems to have to be on her own terms. That's fine because for live or web shows and a lot of other post show opportunities, that's all you need, but on this show it doesn't always work.

 

As I said though perhaps being in the bottom will spur her on and we'll see her give everything to stay and to get that challenge win.

I haven't seen the show yet, but I'm glad Chi Chi has gone as something was clearly up during her time on the show. I think the longer she was there the more it was affecting her.

 

Ben is slaying - I was expecting to see her go in a shock after the almost setting up last week of 'one minute you win and the next your out' etc. Surprised Trixie was bottom 3; I expected her to dominate this series, but she is so far behind now it seems to be between Ben and Shangela as they've been the most consistently strong from the last 4 shows.

 

Be interesting to see what happens when the eliminated Queens return and when that actually happens

Sorry but anyone thinking Trixie got this is fairly too late now. Hell she is not even aming for top 3 let alone win the whole thing...its a shame because clearly she is talented but as Liam said I guess it just has to be on her own terms.

 

Ben no words, the fierciest and strongest so far and Shangela right behind her :wub:

Yeah, there’s 3 challenges left and if Trixie can manage top 2 for at least 2 of them and wins at least one lip sync, she’d be worthy of MAYBE contending for the crown. But at this point, it feels like Ben is way ahead of the rest. In terms of stats it’s kinda like...

As much as I’ve been loving Ben, her runway was probably the worst this week.

Trixie is still my favourite Drag Queen from this show, outside of the show she is amazing, so funny and so talented. I really didn’t think her RuPaul was all that bad tbh. I’m really bored of Ben this season tbh I don’t think she is all that amazing this time I don’t get her win but I didn’t really know the celeb. Shangela did really well but again didn’t think she stole the show. For me personally Aja was actually my favourite this week, I feel she is just being overlooked.

 

Overall though the worst snatch game ever by far. I barely laughed. Trixie needs to up her game or she is a goner soon. Im still rooting for her Aja and Shangela atm.

I know! They should have done the eliminated queens next week instead of the week after tbh!

 

There's 3 and then the final. So if you include whatever they do in the final (I'm assuming it'll be another Read U Wrote U situation), that's 4.

 

 

I'm seeing the final three as Ben, Shangela and either Aja/Trixie.

Just watching the episode now - Trixie is just embarrassing. In fact without Ben, Shangela and Aja its all quite bad.

This was just a really bad hour of television. The Snatch Game was limp, episode felt really dead and rushed?

Trixie is just kinda shit and that's the tea. I don't get why people are hating on Shangela, her and Ben are the only ones really bringing it this series.

Except her UNHhhhh's Rupaul WAS funny. She just lacked this something extra to take it over the top to make it funny on the snatch game where you need to deliver every single minute.

I think when something is edited in your favour it’s a lot easier to make something funny than when you’re on a competition.

I actually adore Trixie and tbh I thought her snatch game was okay wasn't in my bottom three (Chi Chi, Kennedy, Bebe were in mine). I think her RuPaul is like a parody of the actual RuPaul. My faves were Ben, Aja and Shangela.

 

In terms of Runway looks Ben was my favourite loved it was so simple yet elegant. They were all pretty solid though.

Yeah exactly, like I said it's on her terms. She can fit her RuPaul into a skit on her shows but when it has to be fit in with a challenge that is structured by someone else it didn't go as well. And that's fine, it doesn't mean she isn't talented I just think as a contestant, her talent doesn't fully come out in the same as on her shows. I'd still be happy for her to make the final and turn it around, but if she was going to slay it and become a contender, she would have by now.

 

The ball next week will probably be Shangela's or Aja's to lose as they seem to be slaying the runway this season imo. Trixie has some great looks but I can't see that a runway challenge will be the one where she slays it, even if I'd like to be wrong there. Of course you never know until the night with this series, the usual Ben and Shangela top 2 beckons :kink:

I keep imagining Morgan coming back and elimainting Dela for revenge / to get rid of strongest competition.

It would seem odd for there to be any other Queens in contention. I'm really liking Aja this season... even in the talking heads bit too - its a shame she wasn't this good in Series 9 too.

 

I'm hoping Kennedy is out next. Bebe just seems to be there at the moment and hasn't really impacted at all. However I can see her making the final unfortunately.

Yep definitely Bebe or Kennedy out for me next, can't take to either of them really other than when Kennedy slayed the Bitchelor :lol:

 

I hope Aja can make the final, it's brilliant how she's come along in a short time. She might not always slay challenges but her runways have consistently been incredible.
