what pissed me off the most was that the whole think ended up being f***ing pointless. There was no need for that to be a 2 hander

Writing "woke up and it was all a dream" to end a story was seen as a right NO during schooldays. Even a few films ended like it and was just a huge feeling of being cheated and fobbed off by the writers.

 

Last night's Eastenders however hit a new low.

The guy who played Jase in 1994 in "Common As Muck" on the left (Steven Lord). He was 21 in this photo and played Jonno Fox. His on-screen father is the guy in the photo who later starred in "Benidorm".

So that's what he looked like when he pumped Jay's mum and produced Jay :lol:, it's no surprise that he aged a lot between that time. I think it's impossible to look the same as 13 years earlier unless your name is Pharrell Williams!

I saw a headline online "Walford In Bloom becomes Walford In Boom" relating to this, it just seems another desperate grab at viewers. Eastenders has always been depressing but now it's not just the storylines, it's the whole atmosphere surrounding the show.

Who would I want taken out in this massive story? Jack, Whitney, Mick, Lauren, Johnny. Sonia gets a reprieve due to recent ikonecness.

 

Who is more likely to go?

Steven, Fi, Ingrid and possibly Johnny.

 

Maybe take out the whole regular cast, and give more prominence to the extras - Tracey, Winston, the young bloke on the market in the black hat. Call it Eastextras.
