Yay, I was definitely hoping for Dan and Matt to return - particularly the gorgeous latter who weirdly followed me on Snapchat and watched my stories from time to time.

I can see Candice being the one who's very very good but comes like 4th bc the public seem to hate her for being pretty :lol:

Monty has had to withdraw, not that anyone was really caring that he was in it :lol:

To be fair I would say Lamar is a decent enough name don’t see why he wasn’t in the original line up to begin with tbh.

They have got ITV Racing's Matt Chapman as the commentator for the series. Goodness me, anyone but him.

I think some of you are being a bit harsh. Max Evans is a rugby player (hot as hell too), Perri an Olympian. Sports people are generally not as famous but well received because they are famous for something of substantial reason. Unlike love island Ken and bake off Candice (neither of who I knew) who are basically trash celebrities famous for reality TV and nothing else. The sports people are likely to be better received. Also Anthony Cotton everyone knows him. I don’t even watch Corrie but I know of their stars alongside Brooke Corrie stars are like the B-list celebs of the country. Then Alex Beresford is a weather presenter on this morning so probs a familiar face to many if not a famous personality (and a hot bod which helps lol). Again Cheryl Baker is probs the most famous member of Bucks Fizz and is just as credible (probs far more well known) than the likes of Mollie on Strictly or Vanessa on I’m a celeb.

 

Reality shows don’t get A-listers it’s not good for their careers. This line up is just as decent as strictly’s has just been.

Candice really isn't trash, she did win a TV show for her talent :lol: Being a baker is as legit as say being a chef, or a presenter. Anyone could do it if they tried I suppose but same with being a chef or presenter, she won a show which was the most watched event of last year. I'm fed up of people slagging her off before even seeing what she's like, or more often bored housewives slagging her off because she's attractive.

Yes because Mary Berry judging your baking skills is the epitome of trash :lol: ANyway if you don't know her then what right have you to call her trash?

Six this week and six next, a two hour show for six contestants :drama:

Hoping the theme tune is the same, plus the skater's intro with it being played for a few minutes is still a feature. Great tune! :music:

There isn't a split for the results show for the results show, so I guess that half an hour is added on which makes a bit more sense for the running time. An hour and a half still seems a long time for six though when that equates to about 20 minutes absolute maximum of skating :lol:

Apparently what’ll happen is there’s no skate off this week and instead the bottom of the vote this week goes into next week’s skate off along with whoever’s bottom of the vote next week. Makes more sense than eliminating someone before half of them have even danced :lol:

Oh,that makes more sense but will still drag I feel, at least when you have the skate off later there's still something interesting coming up whereas this is just "we'll pad out half an hour while you vote just to find out who MIGHT be going home next week" :lol: But I guess like I said it's been gone a while they've got stuff to introduce and go back over and set it all up.

 

Still looking forward to this though! My early prediction is a gut feeling that Candice will be like 2nd on the leaderboard but end up in the bottom, I don't know why but I just can't shake the feeling she'll that token one most series have who is one of the best but people just don't take to as much so her public vote suffers.

I didn't think Candice was bad enough tonight to be in the skate off! Stephanie was the weakest for me. On the other hand, I was pleasantly surprised by Kem who was more speedy and in control than I thought he was going to be.

Stephanie was so annoying, i was like just shut up when she was being judged. Not a bad show, i cant make my mind up if the changes have added to the show but it was enjoyable. I was hoping Anthony or Stephanie would be the bottom 2.
