July 30, 20178 yr Can we not @ someone linking me to a site where I'd have to pay for their MP3 please x Yes but I thought if you didn't have to pay for an mp3 it would be an illegal download site (unless it was released as a free download officially). Edited July 30, 20178 yr by Slitherhisser

July 30, 20178 yr lol, imagine you hosting a BJSC, are you willing to pay for 60+ songs yourself? I wouldn't use mp3s if I was hosting it, you don't really need them anyway to host a BJSC contest, the youtube videos/soundcloud links to use for plug and the spotify link for the spotify playlist are enough I think!

Whatever your own personal opinion may be, MP3s are still are popular way of people accessing the songs for this contest (e.g. you can listen to them on the go/travelling)

I wouldn't want to become involved in illegal downloading if I was hosting though, so I would leave them out. Why are we asked to put a legal download link in then in the confirmation form? I don't assume any download links that offer free downloads are legal (unless the song was released as a free download)! Edited July 30, 20178 yr by Slitherhisser

Yeah, most probably I'd start a war (and would do the packs). Btw. I wouldn't call a youtube rip wildly illegal, but maybe its only me. Edited July 30, 20178 yr by FrankLuck
July 30, 20178 yr UGHHHHHHHHH gonna pull a Yehesi this month :( especially considering I sent a genre that NEVER qualifies :drama: :drama: Pull a Yehesi? What eeees?

How you go about obtaining said MP3 is your business... it just means that you must use a reputable and accessible site (like Google Drive, Zippyshare) to host it Edited July 30, 20178 yr by lewistgreen
July 30, 20178 yr Actually it's the moderators giving Buzzjack legal cover by saying that any link you put there you do so at your own risk if it isn't to a legal source, and that the site does not condone illegal downloading.
July 30, 20178 yr Yes but I thought if you didn't have to pay for an mp3 it would be an illegal download site (unless it was released as a free download officially).!!! oh my! You've been in BJSC for a while now, I'm surprised you've only just raised this point. I actually had the same question last year if you want to share the embarrassment x Edit: Silas' post above refreshes my memory. Oh my @ Spadam and Joseph's posts blending into one another!!what is this? what are you referring to :P Edited July 30, 20178 yr by shatteredSanity
July 30, 20178 yr Pull a Yehesi? What eeees?come second then DNQ and lose all your momentum, and you were the latest to do it, hence "pull a Yehesi"
July 30, 20178 yr Well if Yehesi do that then I'll count that as a bullet dodged seeing as it was high up my list for this month.
