November 3, 20177 yr Girls song choices confirmed: Alisah - Let’s Get Loud (Jennifer Lopez) Grace - Ciao Adios (Anne-Marie) Holly - Despacito (Luis Fonsi etc) Rai-Elle - Bailando (Enrique etc)
November 3, 20177 yr Oh others have been revealed too but not going to write them all out! Sam’s track is the only one I’ve seen so far with zero connection to the theme.
November 3, 20177 yr Overs Kevin - Smooth by Santana & Rob Tbomas Tracy - Ain't Your Mama by J-Lo Matt - Livin' La Vida Loca by Ricky Martin Groups Cutkelvins - Hey DJ by CNCO Rak-Su - Dimelo (original) Jack & Joel - Havana by Camila Cabello Sean & Conor - Cheap Thrills by Sia Lloyd - Hero by Enrique Iglesias Sam - Twist and Shout by Chubby Checker Leon - Get Lucky by Daft Punk Lmao oh dear at Louis ignoring the theme for two of his acts, tbh Cheap Thrills and Ciao Adios are really pushing it for Latin also  Tracy and Matt's choices are awful for their voices. Glad to see Grace and Alisah changing it up a bit!
November 3, 20177 yr Unless they're jazzing up the production there is no way in hell Get Lucky counts as a Latin song, and Louis is usually the one to use the rulebook to criticise other judges song choices.
November 3, 20177 yr Yeah they could just change up the production I guess like when Little Mix did Tik Tok on Rock Week! It's pushing it a bit but I suppose it's a good way to get around acts there are limited songs for
November 3, 20177 yr Some of these songs choices I’m intrigued by and can’t wait to see while others either don’t fit the theme at all and/or will be complete and utter car crash  Edited November 3, 20177 yr by troylovesmusic
November 3, 20177 yr They said there wouldn't be themes, especially not bandwagon chasin ones, so Loui does right to ignore them now they have magically brought them back.
November 3, 20177 yr Giving "Hey DJ" to The Cutkelvins instead of Reggaeton Lento is interesting - not sure how well it'll come across although songs not being well known hasn't exactly been a negative this series.
November 3, 20177 yr Have you heard one from another year say how the judges would do ten mins of filming with them and the rest o the time they just discussed song choice etc with producers

November 3, 20177 yr Yep they are indeed! Jack & Joel are mashing up Havana with Haste el amanecer by Nicky Jam also and Matt Linnen is "with rap".... Nicole must want to sabotage her categories
November 3, 20177 yr Extremely disappointed Alisah isn’t doing a Selena song, I Could Fall in Love or Dreaming of You would’ve been perfect for her :(
November 3, 20177 yr I retract previous comments about Grace and her originals boring me as that label now goes to Rak-Snooze. I'm not surprised if The Cutkelvin's are doing RL - sure I speculated about that when the theme was announced. Anne-Marie is SUCH a reach it's painful. Havana will be interesting to hear as well.
November 3, 20177 yr Ahhh. Was wondering whether J&J would end up doing 'Havana' or not. They mashed it up with 'Crying In the Club' on youtube not too long ago. It was half decent actually (the other half was awful/painful vocally for me) but I'm sure they'll be sure to make an effort with production on here. J-FPLOpdA34 So excited to hear 'Bailando'! Two J Lo songs though :o
November 3, 20177 yr I'm sad that Havana is wasted on J&J just as I was that New Rules was wasted on them too. Would like to have seen the Cutkelvins reprise their judges houses performance or even someone like Grace take it on as I think she could smash it. Spencer has a fab cover version of Havana on his YouTube too, shame he isn't here for this. Nevertheless I am quite excited for this theme, lots of inspired song choices yet again with only 3 of the 14 tracks previously being performed on X Factor live shows (Livin La Vida Loca, Twist and Shout and Hero?). I am curious to see whether we'll be getting hastily translated covers or if we are going to have several acts learning Spanish!
November 4, 20177 yr Simon is trying to save the weakest (in his opinion) group choosing the best song choices for them. :P Sean & Connor are lucky to not compete with the girls this weekend. I don' think Cheap Thrills is a good song choice for them and also doesn't suit this week's theme. <_< Edited November 4, 20177 yr by Jason
