With rumours rife that the TS6 lead is coming very soon, especially with the fact its been 3 years since 1989 now and the whispers about new music are getting louder and louder, when do you think the TS6 lead will drop? Do you think Taylor will stick to her usual August release single/October album or divert this year like she has with the length of gaps between album releases (every album from TS to 1989 was a 2 year gap!)

Atm, I'm thinking we'll get the lead single in September with the album in October. I can't see Taylor doing a surprise album drop but I feel like we would have had a couple more hints by now if it was coming this month (and also due to the court case I can't see it this month).

 

So I think in order of most likely:

1) September 2017 - I can't see it not being this year and it feels like it'll be coming sooner than later

 

2) August 2017 - The usual release date for Taylor leads and a later release date means a lack of VMA's promo as well

 

3) October 2017 - I think if it's this late it'll be a couple of weeks before the album is out

 

4) Q1 2018 - I would've had this 2nd a couple of weeks ago but with the HDD report and the rumours, I don't see how it won't be out this year. Though as gutting as this wait would be, it wouldn't shock me if this happened!

Can't see any of the other options happening!

I think it's coming in October, however I would love it to come in q1 next year. 2017 has been so awful for the big females so I would rather she held back and saved us in 2018

I both think and want August 2017! Think it'll be a similar strategy to the last two albums - lead in August followed by the album in October. September is a possibility too I guess, or basically any time for the rest of the year. I doubt it'll be any later!

I think it will arrive this month and I want it this month! I adored her last album so I'm really hyped for this.

1989 really made me keep an eye on her music so I'd love for her 2017/2018 era to continue to that high standard :D

 

The Zayn collab was a grower for me but I'd still welcome new songs along that line, perhaps a mix of that style and the 1989 style would be a great combo (or even better add a bit of Red in! *.* :wub: )

I presume she's not going against Bieber so I imagine we're looking at Aug 25th or Sep 1st?

With Bieber in mind I think Sept will be best now, it gives Bieber time to die down a bit (it MAY not need that long but it do anything from a 2U to a Despacito) :lol: I'll be SEETHING if he stops her getting her #1 so maybe if it's like mid Sept he'll have his domination then she can come in at full power and smash to #1.

She definitely would in the US, not as convinced internationally. I think giving Justin a week of breathing space is all she'd need to be safe internationally though!

Yh i'd be shocked if the 18th happened anymore. Though HDD have dropped a hint and most people think it means something to do with coming out in 10 days! (which is Friday 25th). SO hope this is true <3 :lol:

When it comes to Taylor/my faves I'm the same, I went batshit at 4am when I found out we had to wait an extra hour for the new single :lol:
