Maybe it would be good to give some members a chance at being artists mods? One experienced and another less so experienced especially when they are so enthahsasic for the artists!

The mods for the new forums (Joseph and Haus for Bieber and Cameron and Kye for Ariana) were the one suggested in the AF mod lounge. Unlike with normal mods, they can be changed whenever, and you guys can definitely bring on a third mod of your choice to help out, a new member if that's what you want.

Newer mods also provides more discussion in the AF mod forum as we have new inputs!

I'm with Lee here, it's nice to have members keen on modding AF's, but at the end of the day, certian memebrs are in charge of 3 or more AF's and it's not fair to people who want a go and who have new ideas to be cast aside.

All very well saying "oh they can be easily changed and you can add a third mod" but literally none of these forums need a third mod. Two is the perfect number.

 

Speaking of, the Kylie forum only has one mod rn and I want to just put my name in the hat, I dedicate time to that forum and would like to help Aly steer it as both Kylie and Dannii are entering nee eras.

What is happening to Buzzjack! Major overhaul!

 

I am guessing Darius will be moved to retro lounge tomorrow at long last.

If additional Ariana mods are needed, I would suggest RobinJuanPersie as another candidate as I'm sure their knowledge would be beneficial :D

I see what you mean, has anyone asked these people if they want to be a mod? I'd be happy to change them in for the members who already have several forums if they're interested.

It's moreso that I feel like we need exoerience for them tos ettle (at least 1 experienced mod) and adter that new bitches can take iver if proven qualified enough?

Yeah. What Tim said. We've done this quickly so IDing current mods to start it off is a good course of action to take as they can quickly go through the motions of setting everything up and then either run applications or approach specific people to come on board/takeover.

 

Not that there is anything wrong with people running more than one AF. Some of the best AF mods down the years have had multiple bows to their strings

Sorry to be the party pooper but I fail to see what's going to be achieved here? ;o Taylor I can understand to an extent as she actually got the votes but Ariana and Justin forums seems a bit overzealous if anything :lol: No single from the Dangerous Woman era got more than six pages of discussion in the Pop forum and most under five pages and I honestly can't see how that discussion would do anything but decrease in a forum tucked right away at the bottom of the site ngl. Don't get me wrong, I love her but it just seems unnecessary and there'll probably be even less discussion about Ari than before :lol: I kinda agree that okay posting levels can be sustained be good modding but hell, I used to start up like a million topics a week in Rih and I'm very passionate about her and that struggles to get in the top five most weeks :lol: All of the above relates to Justin as well. Good luck to the new mods though, I definitely agree that we need new fresh mods rather than the same old faces (not that that applies to the mods of the new forums, we have some mods who haven't before already!!), it's really not that hard to sustain a semi-successful AF if you put the work in and it basically boils down to starting topics about their discography and what they're doing :lol:

Justin Timberlake has become Dua Lipa! This is going to be run by Joe and Lotti, they're advertising for a third mod and they have a PLAN for this one (including Twitter support and banners) - make sure you opt in to it as I think a big failing of the Timberlake forum is that very few members were opted in and a part of the redressing is that the new forums still have the membership of the old forum.

Loving the fresh feel of the AFs thanks to these new additions, thanks Iz and Chez for your hard work in setting them up!

 

Those who are doubting these new AFs - they can hardly be worse than the forums they've replaced! If you were a pop music fan and considering signing up to Buzzjack, what would be more enticing? Four dead forums for JT, Elvis, U2 and Glee, or four active forums for Dua, Justin, Taylor and Ari? It's a no-brainer really, and us mods are dedicated to making them all a success.

Slightly surprised that Timberlake has been given the boot before Darius and the potential Take That merger with his new era rumoured to be starting imminently! :o Although in an ideal world Timberlake, Darius and merger all get removed/happen.
