August 10, 20178 yr Hey Dobbo! My favourite new entries of yours this week are Louis/Bebe and Dua Lipa: 'Back To You' is unexpectedly different to 'Just Hold On' but still very good. I love the production and their voices work really well together. I can see it going Top 10 next week. And as for 'New Rules' I have no idea why she didn't release it as the single to launch the album with but then again releasing it post-album has clearly worked wonders for her, would never have believed she would be going Top 5 with it! Just goes to show what a great little pop song it is I guess. The video is oddly enjoyable too lol. Good to also see 'Came Here For Love' getting some longevity! Great stuff :)

I was not impressed with Just Hold On much at all so I wasn't really that hyped for this but it's really taken me by surprise. It's excellently produced and rather catchy too - hoping it can grow into a UK chart hit :wub: Yay at Dua Lipa entering here too, there must be very few people on the site who aren't charting it at the moment :wub: Easily one of my favourite pop songs of the year, I wasn't too keen on it at first for some reason but I can't get enough of it now - one of the best music videos of the year too :wub: I'm loving Sigala and Ella Eyre more than ever at the moment too. It sounds so perfect in the sun so I'm glad it has been such a smash for them, excited to see what Sigala come out with next as they always deliver bops tbh :wub: Lovely chart :wub:

Great stuff :) Back To You is SO much superior to Just Hold On, a really good duet & DFA does a decent job on production for the first time in a while. It was pleasing to see it go top 10! How on earth they thought that crap song with Miguel was a better launchpad than New Rules remains one of life's great mysteries :lol: it's good that it managed to take off on its own merit anyway & exceed all expectations! This is brilliant imo, absolutely leagues ahead of Now & Later which I never liked sadly 19. Yeah it's a pretty good song from all parties, a huge step up from Just Hold On from Louis 39. I did hear it & it is better than Chinatown (what isn't :lol:) but still a long way off Wall Of Glass - he's always been so much better at the upbeat stompers, whereas the ballads were generally best when Noel took lead 40.
