Ariana's name is on the front of Q Magazine as starring in their 'best songs of the decade' list! I wonder what they've chosen. I hope they've gone for something different to Pitchfork who chose 'thank, u next'. Possibly 'no tears left to cry'?

Any information on which song it was? Hoping for OLT, personally. But I'd accept NTLTC ofc.

 

I thought I'd already posted this in here but turns out that's the EMAs, lots of award ceremonies to keep up with :lol: her AMAs nominations:

 

- Artist of the Year

- Tour of the Year

- Favourite music video (7 rings)

- Favourite social artist

- Favourite female artist (pop/rock)

- Favourite album (pop/rock)

 

Rooting for her in most of these categories! Although the album category only comprises of her, Billie and Taylor and I loved all three of those albums.

Is that really all there is for album!? Could they not find other albums just to fill that category with?!

I've done some searching on Twitter and it appears that it was actually 'Dangerous Woman' - what a curveball choice :o I guess it's one of her more rocky offerings?

Dangerous Woman is good but she has much better.

 

Its not too under appreciated by sales though I was stunned at its sales when I seen them not too long ago.

 

I think I read an article saying it’s actually outsold Oops I Did It Again which blew my mind!

 

It was on the OCC list of Max Martins biggest hits.

 

Streaming era sales in general tend to shock me now though!

But album tracks wise I’d be spoilt for choice. I tend to prefer her album tracks to singles pretty much every era with her aside from sweetener.

She is still in the BBH100 charts with Don't Call Me Angel... which means she hasn't left that chart since ntltc debuted!

 

THE POWER

Wow, over a year and and a half of Ariana in the chart :o that's crazy. The fact that I was at a completely different stage of my life when 'no tears left to cry' came out (still at University, drowning in dissertation work) really puts into perspective how long it's been. Bravo to her *.*

Ariana atm really minds me of the Rihanna of 2010-2012 in some ways.

 

I don’t think it’ll be as long as three year until we get AG6 but a break will do her the world of good.

Yeah I think three years seems like too much of a gap in the world of pop. Maybe coming back in 2021 would be a good move.

I'm late to this but omg 'Yours Truly', 'My Everything' + 'Christmas & Chill' released on vinyl?! AHHHH! The only thing that concerns me is that they're all coloured red, possibly a cancellation? :( hoping it might mean no longer being released on that date (6th December). Idk but I'll happily snap them up in a heartbeat, I have always regretted not getting a limited edition 'My Everything' vinyl during their original run!

I have albums 2-5 on vinyl, so I kind of feel like having a copy of her debut so I have a complete collection... but I think I should find a moment to listen to it for the very first time, before committing to buying it... :kink: I'm not sure why I've not yet felt the urge to hear it from start to finish!
