I had a That's Entertainment in my town but it was replaced by Burger King a few years ago so I don't think they're a thing now! Used to find lots of 90s/00s Now albums in there *.*

Sadly I don't think any of their studio albums will reach those targets any time soon. To the point we might not see it happen until the 2040s, lol, unless a reunion gives their music a very impactful

So the GH didnt chart last week, and we can assume that it wont chart this week either, right?

Damn it, I was getting used to it being in the Top200 this time ah.

It did chart :D I've just been lazy when it comes to updating :kink: It was #143 in Friday's chart! It's midweek #133 today.

 thanks you angel!

Glad it is still in lol

Midweek #140 on 5th August. I'm glad that it's hanging around!

Thanks Jay. Any idea on sales?

Unfortunately I don't know the sales this week  I would imagine 900-ish though! I'd guess it might be on ~609,700 in total.
thanks jay for all these updates and info :)

I've been looking at the Official Charts solo singles article from 2017 and noticed some of the singles placings and seeing no sales for those singles on here. Thought could use it to fill in some of the gaps. The lowest official sales we have on here is This Time with 2,500 sales so all the singles above that can have an minimum sales based on that… This pushes 5 singles out into unknown and below 2,500 (For once in my life, Weak, Angels in chains, Dear life and Hold on). The rest I have worked out at this:

When you’re gone (830,000)

It’s raining men (449,000)

Never be the same again (431,477)

Out of your mind (400,001) – minimum sale based on OCC list

I turn to you (400,000)

Mi chico latino (391,500)

Lift me up (346,000)

Look at me (326,000)

What took you so long (269,737)

Bag it up (260,000)

I want you back (226,000)

What I am (224,000)

Northern star (216,000)

Feel so good (142,000)

Tell me (109,000)

Going down (92,645)

Take my breath away (84,001) – minimum sales based on OCC list

Not such an innocent girl (84,000)

Scream if you wanna go faster (80,192)

Maybe (77,274)

Downtown (77,039)

Word up (76,996)

Calling (70,515)

This groove / Let your head go (69,000)

A mind of it’s own (60,000)

If that were me (55,564) – minimum sales based on OCC list

Free me (55,563)

Ride it (53,142)

Loving you (39,892) – minimum sales based on OCC list

Lullaby (39,891) – minimum sales based on OCC list

Here it comes again (39,890)

I’ll be there (39,496)

We’re not gonna sleep tonight (35,802)

On the horizon (22,030)

Next best superstar (19,066)

Crickets sing for Anamaria (18,723)

I want candy (12,896) – minimum sales based on OCC list

Desire (12,895)

Melt / Yeh, yeh, yeh (8,313)

Carolyna (6,391)

All I need to know (6,188)

Think about it (3,821) – minimum sales based on OCC list

I know him so well (3,820) – minimum sales based on OCC list

Anymore (3,819) – minimum sales based on OCC list

Today (3,818)

This time (2,500)

That’s a bit of a headache to look at lol. I’ve basically figured out a minimum official sale for these that had no sale data I basically just added 1 extra sale to crate a minimum sales:

Loving you (39,892)

Think about it (3,821)

I know him so well (3,820)

Anymore (3,819)

Also have updated sales for these as based on the list they must have a higher total than in here, again I basically just added 1 extra sale to create a minimum sales:

Out of your mind (400,001)

Take my breath away (84,001)

If that were me (55,564)

Lullaby (39,891)

I want candy (12,896)

Which means the girls sold over 6,257,397 solo singles in the UK as these don't take into account the singles we have no data for or the extra sales on top of the minimum ones posted here.

Then then sold over 2,225,663 solo albums in the UK (funny that Spice alone outsold them all lol).

So we can say they have sold more than 8.4 million solo records in the UK (8,483,060) on top of the 14.5 million as a group (9,074,511 singles and 5,457,782 albums) which is a huge over 23 million records in the UK alone! (23,015,353).

Amazing to think that advert in the stage newspaper would result in 23m sales in the UK alone.
I’ve definitely seen 217k for Northern Star and 432k for NBTSA on various OCC articles but then they write new articles and put lower sales in the article which is confusing

Hopefully they will do a new article when Mel C releases her new album in the autumn and then we will have new updates :yahoo:

(is it bad that this excites me more than new Mel C music? )

Unfortunately their other weekly sales at #1 in 1996 would have been downgraded by OCC, but we don’t know what to. All we know is that the first week was reduced from 155,000 to 114,305.

That’s so annoying that they did that! Like get it right or leave it alone!

Jay because from 155,000 they went to 114,000? there is a big difference in sales...
