If only those other chart peaks were the official ones, Spiceboy!

Definitely generous of OCC to gives sales for Little Mix's Top 20, a shame they're not always that informative. We'll be finding out Spice sales from [redacted] asap, so that's something to look forward to!

By the way, the Greatest Hits CD is back on offer in HMV (£2.99 if purchased with another item deal) so that explains why GH has been climbing the charts. Unfortunately on iTunes the album has increased to £11.99 (rip off :/ ).

Sadly I don't think any of their studio albums will reach those targets any time soon. To the point we might not see it happen until the 2040s, lol, unless a reunion gives their music a very impactful

Whaat!! £11.99 is soooooo expensive for what is a standard GH without any extra incentives -_-

Thanks Jay x

To be fair I'd be hoping they were half those numbers lol :yahoo:

Another TOP 10 SMASH HIT for MEL B :cheer:
I also noticed the OCC were unusually generous with their sales information for the Little Mix article. Here's hoping they continue!

I get the impression that they were so informative because Little Mix's numbers are impressive - most artists that they're doing a top 10/20 for doesn't have those numbers so including that someone's best-selling #18 track has "sold" 500 copies might be seen as a bit eerrm. I notice that they rarely give out numbers for low-sellers, which is a shame because I usually find those more interesting.

Also made me realise that with Melanie C featuring on the Justice Collective and Geri on the Grenfall Tower record (although you never actually hear her lol) that means both Melanie C and Geri have featured on #1 singles in 3 different decades. Has any other British female singer achieved that?

Thanks for posting, Liam! I was hoping it would be closer to Gold than that. 8,500 in 2 years and 2 months is rather disappointing  As is 18,500 since the digital era began 15 years ago!

A bit of a forgotten #1 oops~ but it must be selling at a faster rate than two of her other #1s Lift Me Up and Bag It Up (the latter only has 500,000ish plays on Spotify eek).

Thanks for the updates Guys x

Good point Tommie!

I agree re. the lower sellers being most intriguing. With successful releases, not only are the OCC more inclined to provide the numbers, but you've also got certifications to go by too. With the lower sellers, that's not the case - it's often so secretive.

It is interesting that it clearly doesn’t stream so great, did Mo Chico Latino originally have higher sales than I turn to you? That has gone Gold now...
it's because it is pish :teresa:

To be fair Melanie C has performed the track a lot more over the years than Geri has MCL which was basically never really performed after its promotion for release, instead Look at me and Its raining men have always had Geri’s attention for future performances. Mel has performed ITTY, WYG and NBTSA at countless festivals and on TV shows like that Take That one.
