Oh My God and Can I Get It are both amazing.

Love how Oh My God is a different sound for her, this NEEDS to be the next official single and love that it has been chosen to head up New Music Friday.

I can see the label / Adele rethinking I Drink Wine as the second single by how early reviews are coming in.

The title stood out but I think Can I Get It, Oh My God and Hold On would all be stronger choices (but I’d rather Hold On have it’s moment later in the campaign).

Don’t get me wrong I Drink Wine is great but there’s stronger choices on there for a single push. She’s definitely gonna have three tracks charting here though and over the weeks what the third track is may rotate based on streams etc.

I Drink Wine is a solid track too, I don't agree with the criticism of it. It's not a patch on those other three though.

I already keep going back to Oh My God on repeat listen.

Overall the album is maybe my favourite? I've loved all her albums, but I love how diverse this one is and not just one, but TWO bops.

"Oh My God" and "Can I Get It" need to be singles. They are both so catchy.

The ballads are so strong. "To Be Loved" is stunning and "Hold On" is just *_* "I Drink Wine" sounds a lot better in studio form too.

"Love Is a Game" is superb and a great album closer.

"Cry Your Heart Out" gives me 19/Amy Winehouse vibes with a modern twist. I think it could make a solid single too.

"Woman Like Me" is so sultry. Such a nice mellow guitar-driven song.

"Strangers By Nature" is the perfect opener. Such a great cinematic production. Gave me chills.

"All Night Long" is great for an interlude. I kind of wished they fleshed it out into a full blow song!

The only song I'm not 100% with is "My Little Love". I love the vocals and production, but I'm not a big fan of songs with large/long speaking segments. Although I can see why she chose to do it and I think it's lovely. Just not something I would personally listen to regularly.

Her best album to date, so warm! It's definitely what Winehouse would be putting out if she were still alive.

‘Can I get It’ & ‘Hold On’ are early favourites from me.

But right now ‘To Be Loved’ is the absolute stand-out for me… just listening to it is making me so emosh!

And I really like ‘I Drink Wine’ now I’ve heard the studio version.

On first listen, it’s not up there with 21 or 25 for me. They were just so instant, there’s some real crackers on here.. but some that i need to listen to a few more times

How come you are in Cyprus? Holidays or you are working in the british military base?

I live here, in the North side at the moment, but go to the south a lot too. :)

My thoughts on 1st listen

Strangers by Nature - good enough start. It sets the tone of the album without being a standout. 6/10

Easy On Me - this has grown on me a lot since first listen. It’s the emotion that elevates the song 9/10

My Little Love - the clips of Adele with her son are cute and her speech towards the end is hard to listen to. The song kind of just happens in the background and at the moment I can see this being a grower 6/10

Cry Your Heart Out - to me this is album filler. Nice enough but nothing remarkable. 5/10

Oh My God - improvement on the last track and can definitely see this being a grower. 6/10

Can I Get It - this feels very unique for Adele and whilst it shouldn’t become a single, I can see this being a fan fave from the album 7/10

I Drink Wine - if this is to be a post album single, this is not in the same league as Someone Like You/When We Were Young. Adele’s voice sounds great on it, but this is not as good as it should be. 7/10

All Night Parking - such a chill song and perfect for a coffee shop. The jazzy sound suits the song well 7/10

Woman Like Me - like the sound of this song and it is placed well to follow All Night Parking. 7/10

Hold On - this song builds beautifully and some of the lyrics are heartbreakingly honest. I like it but it feels like an album track to me. 7.5/10

To Be Loved - Adele’s voice sounds epic on this and it just builds and builds. This song will resonate with listeners 9/10

Love is A Game - a good enough album closer, but not much more than that 7/10

I think some of the tracks will take more listens. Adele’s voice has never sounded better, but on first listen I cannot hear an obvious follow up to Easy On Me. Maybe I am comparing too much to previous albums, but I consider a song like Don’t You Remember as a better single choice than most of the songs on this album

This is her channelling Amy Winehouse album

Can I Her It and Oh My Gox are both shamaxing. I'm not sure which should be the next sinfle, as bith are SO GOOD!

This is what I wanted from Adele after '25', she's pushing herself as an artist and becoming more experimental. Adele's voice is solid as always, and her voice sounds better than ever.

For me personally, Adele will never top '21' but this is a good album, possibly a grower to being great.

OK don't shoot me but the album just doesn't live up to what I was expecting, it's nowhere near as good as 25 - at least on first listen. She obviously sounds stunning on it, that's undeniable fact, but very few of the songs left a lasting impression on me. 'Can I Get It' is the obvious highlight and I'd love for that to be a single. 'My Little Love' sounds a bit unlistenable, the voice notes sound a bit cringe. As for the rest, I prefer the uptempo ones to the ballads but nothing really stood out.

Right, you can all go back to raving about it now!

I’m staying on the fence for now. I enjoyed the classic feel to some of the tracks but I can’t massively remember anything after playing them. But that was the same with Easy On Me so I’ll give it chance to grow. She sounds amazing on it though, more than ever before she sounds like a classic singer. I think it’s going to become one to listen to in the evenings as it’s got a real sense of warmth to most of it.

Glad I’m not the only one not feeling it on first listen!

To Be Loved is the one that’s really not clicking with me, it seems to just go on forever

I am sure the album will grow on me. It is not as instant as 25.

Crying Your Heart Out - i find this jarring and it sounds like it should be on an advert.

Stand Outs

To Be Loved

Can I Get It

Oh My God

The 1-2-3 punch on the album, from 'Hold On' (best song on the album),'To Be Loved' which is a ridiculously hard song to sing and Adele at her most vocally impressive ever and then the perfect vintage closer for the album 'Love Is A Game'.

I think this is where I'm at rn too. I think 21 & 25 were very instant whereas this one is going to take some more time. It definitely has potential to grow though, none of the tracks were bad there just wasn't really a wow moment for me on first listen. Buuuttt then again I can definitely see myself regretting this post after a few more listens :kink:

Highlights for now other than EOM are Can I Get It and To Be Loved
