I feel like a killer video & one promo performance can push it back up into becoming a bigger hit! (As long as the UK radio mess sorts itself out, capital have now dropped this ofc and she gets back onto the big spotify playlists which I'm sure she will!)

She's not gonna do that though... Just blegh. I'm so over this 'campaign' already.

I think she will tbh. There's big rumours of Taylor having an X-Factor performance so I feel like she'll do one performance on a big tv show here or in America (but I'm not expecting more than 1 or 2 )

So far only iHeartRadio Jungle Ball has been confirmed, I don't know about anything else. We'll probably have to wait for the album release to know for sure.
The video is an anime homage according to Joseph Kahn, with some obvious & some less obvious references!

Hoping TayTay rocks the No Face look:

I KNEW I wasn't crazy after seeing those Ghost In The Shell references!

Update:

So that scene is probably a reference to either Code Geass (with Taylor being Lelouch) or Soul Eater.

The video looks outstanding. She really does excel at videos with her pop stuff! So much budget *.*
Urgh no remix please. It would give the song a new life on the charts but the original is perfect and is the version I want to hear on the radio/clubs etc.
Releasing a feature remix as the main single before the album is out (with presumably the normal version on the album) is a choice, I don't know if I've heard of that before.

Alicia Keys did it with "Girl on Fire" with Nicki Minaj which then went on to replace the original version on the album (despite the version without Nicki being the single version) I really can't see any of those artists collaborating with Taylor though - maybe Jeremih as he's a nobody and would love the publicity but Drake? Not a chance.

Cardi B is a good shout if it's true.

I knew there was a reason for her sending flowers to Cardi... :kink: :kink:

But either way, I'm not here for it. Just give official confirmation, push one song and the song will be huge! No need for a remix. Just don't be messy with the release :drama:

So Cardi knocks her song out of the top of the Hot 100 and Taylor saw that as an opportunity rather than competition. From a monetary standpoint, it makes sense. Both songs (Bodak & LWYMMD) got a ton of streams and sold tremendously this year.

I'd personally not have a rap feature edit because this song doesn't really need it but if it ends up escalating the track then sure. RFI has a similar structure to Power and gives off the same aura and yet the latter had an extra rap credit, so maybe Taylor is planning to maximize worldwide profits. Can't really make any judgments until I hear it though.

Love that artwork so much. Almost makes up for how messy this campaign has been so far.
