If you were to choose a national anthem for your country, what would it be?

 

Maybe you would have a celebratory anthem for times when you qualified in your Semi final, or finished in a Top 5 position. Or perhaps you would have a somber anthem to play during the hard times when you don't qualify or finish right near the bottom.

 

I think each country should have their own national anthem that defines them and tells others a bit about what their respective nations stand for, and the sort of musical sounds they will expect to find. :D

Ooh so it was a thing once, but the idea has sort of fallen by the wayside then?

 

I think we should have a campaign to bring it back and a thread for each country to submit their national anthem. *.*

I'd like to bump this thread while there's a gap between contests to invite you to choose and share your nations national anthem! :D

 

I've decided that mine would be based on FFX also (as that's where our country name originates from) and opted for the battle theme music whenever a contest of power would ensue!

 

 

Obviously it wouldn't be that long, but you get the general idea.

 

I still want to decide ok our country's celebratory anthem, but that will come later. ;)

Lol my country has a 'national anthem' that is not actually a real song nor does it have any lyrics, it's just something I made up when making my national thread xx (it's creatively named 'Viva Persephonia')

 

Perhaps I should just make my national anthem 'Cry For Freedom', it's thematically appropriate for a national anthem x (albeit also without any lyrics)

Our national anthem is 'Prisencolinensinainciusol' by Adriano Celentano:

 

 

Supposedly this was written to sound like American English to an Italian audience, without actually being English at all. It really has no connection to Harmonica except that we might use it as an entry one of these days!

 

Edit: Oh wait I forgot it has a harmonica solo at the end, that's why I picked it for our anthem :P

Rumour has it that Jadakissnia's new national anthem has been penned by Gabbiel. :P

Following a referendum announced, voted on, counted and enacted in the space of a few minutes (#efficiency) Persephonia has officially decided to adopt our new national anthem.
