Also, the threads are still visible as useful resources, in both forum's cases. They weren't getting posted in enough so are being refreshed for other acts who potentially will. If they don't, then they'll be closed too, simple. Being rude about every other forum and the mods who work on them isn't going to bring back your forums, posting in them while they were there before the threat would have.

Whoever suggested that the Spice Girls should be in Retro, I don't see that will work very well. Besides there's plenty of newcomers dedicated to keeping a SG forum running and putting it all in Retro is just going to make it a mess :lol: the Retro forum ft. NOW Music & Spice Girls :lol:

Why on earth do we still have Leona & Sugababes AF's in 2017?

They are working on new music and have enough conversation in their forums when they are active, moreso than those who have gone.

Why is this even being brought up again? People being negative for the sake of wanting an argument, and this coming from me.

I'm not arguing at all, it's just that someone said that Darius was removed because he's no longer relevant, so why are those AFs mentioned still there?

TBH can we just celebrate the fact that "Lady GaGa" has now been corrected to "Lady Gaga" at last *.*

Point mentioned already. They're working on new music, Darius is not. Case closed.

Although MKS/Sugababes have only had one official single release since 2010 and there's no guarantee they'll release again...

I think Take That and Leona will go before MKS and Sugababes especially now MKS and Sugababes Forum is pretty active. Take That will be next in the danger zone as it is relatively inactive and has been for a while and any discussion about Take That could be reduced to a few threads on the pop or retro forum.

For about the 80th time said by various artist mods, nothing else is going for the forseeable. We're seeing how things go with the new ones and others are on a sort of probation and they'll be culled when the time comes if they need to.

As y'all have been repeatedly told nothing more is going for a while now. The appropriate people will make the decisions when that time comes.

 

For once on Buzzjack it'd be nice not to flog a dead horse so much that's all that is left is a couple of strands of mane

Fair enough, but I can't see a revival of the Take That or Leona forum and they seem to be going the same way as the Will Young one did ie. very quiet indeed.

This is circular and if you aren't an AF mod or higher, I hate to say it, but your opinion on what forums should or should not exist doesn't ultimately matter, so I'm closing this.

 

But for the record, there are a number of forums, most of the ones mentioned in this conversation, that should be regarded as 'on watch' and 'waiting for new material'. We've cut the most egregious dead wood and added the most clear replacement candidates, but now, we're just going to see how these run. Basically, Liam & Silas are absolutely correct, listen to them.
