Queen earned $11M for participating in that show + will have a huge promotional campaign in China, so keep belly laughing, dummy.

She can be as rich as she wants but it won’t stop her being shit.

She has a great voice and delivers bops

You'd think "once a flop, always a flop", but Jessie J is proving them wrong!

Looking forward to R.O.S.E (China exclusive)

If only she'd realised 3 years ago that all she needed for people to like her was to go to a country where no-one could understand a word she said~

you can dislike her on a more personal level (I'm one of those people lmao) but no one can deny that talent. That Celine cover was just perfect!

really smart move from her team to get to another market and infect them with her presence

she should totally release an album singing all her old hits in Chinese

would be the best selling album ever, even beating 21 :)

As hilarious as it is that she took part in and won a Chinese singing competition, it really is such a clever move - a country of over 1 billion and a market she can now conquer and make shit loads of money from.

but it's not all about making money

there's no need to lower yourself in order to get $$$

And what a stark contradiction to that song she released early in her career regarding it "not being about the money".

To be fair the show was for established artists, it really wasn't like X Factor  It's like a lot of their biggest artists and stuff and she was an international artist competing on that. She ofc had to have her usual pomposity though, I had to laugh at her saying she was the only international artist ever to compete but I looked at who was in it and there's an Indonesian singer

So competing in a Chinese singing competition for established artists is "lowering yourself"? :/

Is she really lowering herself, though? The Chinese pop music market is probably worth a hell of a lot more than the British pop market so I think she's doing rather well for herself considering that :')

(just 'cause you don't like her doesn't make her success worth any less)

She’s celebrated as one of the greatest singers ever in America according to herself.
