Ayala was born in Río Piedras, San Juan, Puerto Rico, and was raised in the neighborhood of Villa Kennedy Housing Projects. He is known as the "King of Reggaetón" by music critics and fans alike. Ayala aspired to be a professional baseball player, and tried out for the Seattle Mariners of the Major League Baseball. Before he could be officially signed, he was hit by a stray round from an AK-47 rifle while taking a break from a studio recording session with reggaeton mix tape icon DJ Playero. Ayala spent roughly one and a half years recovering from the wound; the bullet was never removed from his hip, and he credits the shooting incident with allowing him to focus entirely on a music career. In 2004, Daddy Yankee released his internationally acclaimed single "Gasolina", which is credited with introducing Reggaeton to audiences worldwide, and making the music genre a global phenomenon. Since then, he has sold over 18 million albums. Daddy Yankee's album Barrio Fino made history when it became the top selling Latin music album of the decade between 2000-2009. - Wikipedia Top 100 Chart History Luis Fonsi 2017 01 Despacito (Luis Fonsi & Daddy Yankee feat. As with many musicians on the London rap scene, Yungen started writing at a young age. At first it was just a personal outlet, but gradually people began to take notice. His debut mixtape, The New Era Project, was released independently in 2009. It wasn't until his 2014 debut album Project Black & Red, however, that he started to gain traction. As a result, he was nominated Best Newcomer at the MOBO Awards 2015; shortly after the awards he signed his first record deal with Sony RCA. At the start of 2016, Yungen was shortlisted on BBC Radio 1Xtra's One to Watch list, heralding what would become a breakthrough year for the artist. That same year he engaged in a war of words with North London rap artist Chip (formerly known as Chipmunk). The battle took place over the course of a few months, with both artists recording tracks and videos in escalating attacks on each other to the point where the story found its way onto the U.K.'s Channel 4 news. - AllMusic Top 100 Chart History Yungen 2017 17 Bestie (Yungen feat. September 15, 20179 yr 12 09 10 Demi Lovato Sorry Not Sorry Tell Me You Love Me | 2017 Chart Run NE (20/07/2017) | 69-27-27-16-14-15-14-12-9-12 Information Release date: 11-07-2017 Format: digital single Label: Island Records Chart sales: 200k+ Certification: Silver Sales only chart peak: 13 Streaming only chart peak: 10 Video -MsvER1dpjM Biography Demetria Devonne Lovato (/ˈdɛmi loʊˈvɑːtoʊ/ DEM-ee loh-VAH-toh or lə-VAH-toh; born August 20, 1992) is an American singer, songwriter, and actress. After making her debut as a child actress in Barney & Friends, Lovato rose to prominence in 2008 when she starred in the Disney Channel television film Camp Rock and released her debut single "This Is Me" which peaked at number nine on the Billboard Hot 100. The success of the film and its soundtrack resulted in a recording contract with Hollywood Records. Her debut album, Don't Forget (2008), debuted at number two on the US Billboard 200. The following year, Lovato was cast as the titular character of the television series Sonny with a Chance and she released her sophomore album, Here We Go Again, which became her first one to top the Billboard 200 chart. After the release of additional television films and their soundtracks in 2010, including Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam, Lovato's personal issues put her career on a hiatus and led to the discontinuation of Sonny with a Chance after a second season. She entered a treatment center in late 2010 to seek help for addictions, an eating disorder, and self-harm. While there, she was diagnosed with bipolar disorder. Work on her third studio album, Unbroken (2011), began after she successfully completed treatment. The album addresses several of her difficulties. Its lead single, "Skyscraper", became Lovato's second top 10 entry in the US, while its second single, "Give Your Heart a Break", was certified triple platinum in the country. Lovato was a judge and mentor on the American version of The X Factor in 2012 and 2013. Her fourth album, Demi (2013), generated the single "Heart Attack", which became her third top 10 in the US. While promoting the project, Lovato released a book titled Staying Strong: 365 Days a Year (2013). She also returned to acting as a recurring character in Glee, and released a memoir in 2014. Lovato's fifth album, Confident (2015), reached number two on the Billboard 200. Its lead single "Cool for the Summer" was eventually certified double platinum in the US. All five of Lovato's albums have received a gold certification in the country. Musically, Lovato is considered a pop, pop rock, and R&B artist. Lovato has received a considerable number of accolades, including an MTV Video Music Award, 13 Teen Choice Awards, five People's Choice Awards, an ALMA Award, and a Latin American Music Award. Outside the entertainment industry, Lovato has been involved with several social and environmental causes since the launch of her career. In May 2013, she was cited for her dedication as a mentor to teens and young adults with mental health challenges at a National Children's Mental Health Awareness Day hosted by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration in Washington, D.C.. She has also become an advocate for the LGBT community, and women's rights. In 2014, she was announced as the Grand Marshal for LA Pride week, and that same year she became the face for Human Rights Campaign's Americans for Marriage Equality Campaign. In April 2016, Lovato was honored with the GLAAD Vanguard Award for making a significant difference in promoting equal rights for LGBT people. - Wikipedia Top 100 Chart History 2008 33 This Is Me (Demi Lovato & Joe Jonas) -OST- 2009 35 La La Land -1- 2010 71 Wouldn't Change A Thing (Demi Lovato feat.
