Of course it is, I just wondered why. There's usually a reason why albums suddenly appear.

Goodbye, Goodbye - the single has been replaced by the album version of 'Holler' as Track #10 on Spotify, with over 12.5 million streams.

Goodbye was in their Top 10 most popular tracks for nearly 3 months.

Both of these tracks deserve to be much higher and smash the 1million sales TOMORROW!

Damn the UK and its bad taste!

After predictably falling after Christmas their monthly Spotify users has been steadily climbing again the last couple of weeks, over 400k increase

I'm always a bit sceptical with Spotify and how easily the numbers are manipulated but it does make me think maybe they are being manipulated in a good way for the Spice Girls right now. What I mean is labels and management paying or doing deals with Spotify to push artists and streams when people have playlists or their Spotify on shuffle or free accounts get random songs thrown in to get them to subscribe.

Maybe I'm reading too much into it but it would be about the right time to remind people of those songs and push their streams up ready for July.

I've always found it strange to see Goodbye doing quite poorly on streaming, it hasn't even hit 10 million! Even though it's one of their best selling singles, right (and one of their best, in my opinion). Maybe it's not as well remembered outside the UK?

I think it's a combination of people generally preferring their upbeat songs and being the last track of an album that's not as popular as their other two. It's also the lowest single on the 'This is: Spice Girls' playlist, even below an album track and a solo Spice song.

That said, I'd have expected it to have cleared 10m by now. It must get an increase at Christmas time when all the music channels replay Christmas #1s, but presumably it's not high enough to counteract the poor streaming it appears to be getting in the other 11 months.

44,000th post woo!

Justice for Goodbye! It’s also only the 15th track on Greatest Hits, so the lack of prominence really doesn’t help.

It’s a shame that this single that did incredibly well when it was released has become one of their most forgotten (it sold considerably more in just one week than Holler has managed to in over 20 years lol, so on paper Holler shouldn’t be outperforming it now... but Holler does have better exposure on Spotify).

There seems to have been a gradual acceptance and appreciation of 'Holler' in recent years, probably triggered by the tour and I guess it's old enough now for people to hear it without letting their feelings about it at the time inform their opinion (or even they weren't old enough to remember it the first time around!). Music tastes seem to come full circle every 20 years too.

What is so frustrating is that so many songs in the charts now are millionaires and have only sold 200k at best.

Goodbye has sold around 900k in pure sales so with a streaming bump it's such a shame it's struggling to get there.

As you've all mentioned the song has been poorly placed on Spotify. It was a massive 90s hit but it's the last track on both the Forever and GH albums.

It is easily one of their best songs. It just gets a bad rap as people were so set in their ways about what music they expected from the Spicy ones. They wanted spicy, Latin-flavoured pop, and nothing else. Releasing a midtempo, smooth rnb-pip song as the first single did not go down well with them. Add to the fact that the press was ripping them to pieces at the time - giving VB some of the worst press in history and dwstroying her solo career - and you can see why it was not appreciated as much as ir should have been. Hollier should have been a much bigger number one than it was.
