Monique and Cracker just kill me, queens

 

I'm not sure even the producers realise what a goldmine Monique is?

I was kinda worried for Kameron after finding out this was a comedy challenge but she really held her own with Monet! I do agree that there weren’t any standout looks though although Eureka/Cracker came close. It was also nice to see Vixen/Eureka bury the hatchet, if only temporarily.

 

Monet is really becoming the lip sync assassin of the season, wow.

At first I thought Monique would be filler but as soon as those one liners started coming in it was MAGIC. I'm a fan as well.

 

Poor Cracker though. Not getting that win AGAIN. Ugh. She's by far the funniest, down to earth, relatable and likeable. If this continues she will be in my all-time Top 10 :wub:

 

Eureka still has that TRY HARD aura around her. I don't know why, I can not warm up to her AT ALL. Even Aquaria is growing in my estimations.

 

Hopefully Snatch Game is next (as they usually leave it until there're 9 queens remaining) and we'll finally see who has potential to win the entire thing. I really don't see the obvious winner at this point other than getting a TERRIBLE WHIFF that Aquaria will be shoved down our throats more and more with each episode and eventually get crowned the winner. I'm praying to all the goddesses that Cracker can get that crown and FINALLY START WINNING. 4/5 Tops GURL!

 

Snatch Game was episode 7 in season 7, normally it's 5 or 6 so I'm sure it's gonna be the week after next. They probably just didn't want two similar challenges in a row because really Bossy Rossy was the same skills as Snatch Game, as they had to improvise and create a character around the scenario, so they've surrounded them with some looks challenges.

 

I'm so excited for Monique in Snatch Game now! I know it's different to have to embody someone entirely but she makes things hilarious so easily, I'm really warming to her.

Can the Vixen please put her tongue away?! She really deserved to be bottom two this week although the runway overall was poor and hers was better than the bottom two :/

 

This was the first time I properly loved Cracker! Aquaria is my overall favourite though, I love everything about her and she's such a hot guy :wub:

I actually thought Snatch Game would have appeared this week if not in the next two weeks, more for the reason that they would keep the symmetry among the two rows (4-5 queens on each row). I guess five felt too crowded so they’re going with four?

Literally my thoughts but I was DYING at both her plan to sabotage Eureka/Aquaria backfiring and her wanting to get critiques to escape Untucked drama only to become among the bottom looks :P I honestly think winning the mini challenge was what saved her.

 

Also LMAO @ Cracker’s “looks into the camera like she’s in The Office” glance :P

With Monique I feel the producers are/were attempting to give her a filler / an underwhelming edit. But she’s so good that she shines through it. Also she should have been top 3 in week 1 and that’s the tea.

Eureka is still SO annoying, I can't cope if she becomes one of the frontrunners. I agree with Pav, so annoying and try hard, and all very 'ME ME ME'.

 

I'm also one of the very very few who loves The Vixen, I'm living for the drama of it all and I get it - I would find Eureka and Aquaria hard to be around too! :lol:

 

Agreed with the Monique hype, she has really come through lately and becoming one of my favourites now.

Monique was my favourite week one and remains in my top few. Glad others are on board too <3

 

I found this task a disaster. I don't think I laughed once.. no one impressed.

 

I also disagreed with the final result. Yes Monet brought out the gimmicks but Mayhem felt the song more and gave a more traditional lip sync - are gimmicks just going to win every lip sync now after Sasha's expert use of them in the finale last season? Mayhem was so much stronger than Monet in every week so far too so I'm gutted she's gone.

 

I am getting the Miz hype now too and ready to be fully on board with her. Think it's Aquaria's to win overall though, hopefully she grows on me more too.

I do think Mayhem's time to go was right, but I do somewhat agree with gimmicks in lipsyncs! When it's all the time they lose their impact, with Sahsa for example you didn't necessarily expect it from her and it was included so well, right in the final when she had to pull it off. For that reason I was fine with her winning with that lipsync twist, but that's a whole other issue :kink:

 

With Monet, she can't just not do well in the challenges and a do few splits and whatever to steal the lipsync each time. Of course lipsyncing and being a performer is a good deal of being a queen, but it's not everything. When you're on Drag Race and vying to be the next drag superstar, you need to be much more rounded and Monet barely even has the look down half the time :lol:

 

Also agree with Aquaria winning, she seems like a very VH1 widen the audience pick to win. I am seeing more talent to her gradually and wouldn't be absolutely against her winning or anything but I'm not taking to her as a person or whole package that much, and she isn't the sort of look or package that I'm that enamoured by.

He wasn't allowed to leave Indiana due a DUI charge but did, and he has to go back for his case - there are conflicting rumours about whether he is eliminated in time normally by a lipsync or he gets Willam'd

Imo apart from being ‘entertaining’ causing drama.

Miz Cracker, Eureka, Kameron and Monique we’re definitely the highlights this week.

 

Really sad to see Mayhem go. I would have actually placed her around middle of the pack based on challenge, although the denim and diamonds runway (which I’m almost positive wasn’t denim) was a total boot!

I'm liking Aquaria more as the weeks go on but I just hate it when people are up their own arse, she needs to be a bit more humble.

It was nice to see some more of Kameron on Untucked! She just seems so lovely and warm, of course not the most exciting but she's just so likeable and it's a shame she gets an invisible edit on the main show far too often.
