Ok I'm gonna be the only one happy at this but YAS at Eureka winning again! Definitely the best of any panel. I know she had the experience of being at Dragcon anyway, but that whole panel was great and she brought them together. It was the right balance of funny, engaging and just generally really warm and positive and nice to watch. She's killing it this season idc, and she's actually one of my faves. She is really hitting her stride, like the Tap That App challenge, this week allowed her to just mostly be herself and let that shine through and sometimes that is all you need. I don't think she's Next Drag Superstar worthy, but she has deserved these last two wins even if Cracker probably should have got it last week. She also seemed really sweet on Untucked rather than the attention whore everyone seems to paint her as, although to be fair idk if perhaps she's one of those people who's fine if it's all going well for her and she's up on a high which ofc she is rn. I also just *love* Kameron, she's such a sweetheart and it's always really satisfying to see her in the top and get praised. The make-up team did very well as well, but were less consistent as the whole panel whereas body was up there the whole way through. I think that was down to Aquaria and this week sums up quite well what I find difficult to warm to with Aquaria. There's just not the spark there in things that rely on personality such as this, Monique and Asia seemed really engaged, warm and positive, and Aquaria wasn't quite cold and lifeless, but there's just something missing that doesn't connect when she has to be herself and show that. She's beautiful and she knows how to put herself together, but it never quite all comes together as a full package for me.

 

As for Blair going, that was a hard elimination based on what she opened up about but but judging on her trajectory I can't say I was mad to see her go. It was always very "aww cute" from her and never a wow moment, the first few weeks felt like she might be building up to be a contender but she just flatlined recently. This week all 3 of them were awful on the panel really, it was really boring to watch, I actually think Miz Cracker was worse than Vixen as I feel like Vixen was attempting at times and was the only one to make me even chuckle a bit of those 3, but she wasn't saving that team. I guess the runway was pivotal though as Vixen's was pretty awful but Miz Cracker was one of the best. I get what Ru is saying - Vixen always feels unfinished and not polished, a lot of her runways feel like she knows she can perform so just says this'll do and if she's bottom then she knows she can send a bitch home. She did absolutely eviscerate Blair in the lipsync though, that's another lipsync assassin alongside Monet!

 

SNATCH GAME NEXT WEEK *.* I'm gutted the preview didn't give away any characters because I'm gagging!!! Eureka could do very well again and I'm expecting perhaps Monet/Asia/Monique to be up there as well. The others I'm unsure, but who knows - sometimes the best Snatch Games come out of nowhere. I'd LIVE if Kameron just randomly turned it out when we all expect her to be the one who nails the look but just sits there. Bianca back as well AAAAAAAAHHH!! I'm sure it'll just be a fleeting workroom visit but I'm gonna live anyway.

I was so worried for Cracker for a moment there. I do think her look and the fact she's pretty much been in the top every week kept her from lip syncing. Definitely didn't expect her to come across as so unfunny and unlikeable during the panel. Hopefully this is just a one-off.

 

What an incredible main challenge though! The right team won but MONIQUE HEART. She's stealing every scene she's in. She would have been in the top (better than Eureka for me) if they were judged separately.

Bless Blair during admitting that secret must have been really hard to talk about. Right bottom too and tbh Miz Cracker must have been really close and the runway just about saved her. In the lip Sync I felt like Vixen was just glad it was Blair and no one else. It felt like The Vixen just threw every move out there and it looked desperate and not the good kind of desperate.

 

Eureka defo won though unlike last week where I felt like she didn't deserve the win over Miz Cracker. Her whole team was great and engaging tbh.

Blair! :'( The first queen that I am truly upset to see sashay away, she's one of the sweetest queens that they have ever had on Drag Race and her story during the runway critiques was heartbreaking. I'd say she's the best shot for Miss Congeniality as it stands.

 

I'm not mad to see Eureka win because she did do well at moderating her panel (and the 'body' team in general killed it over the other two), I just don't think she's Next Drag Superstar worthy, as Liam said. Aquaria definitely fumbled a bit in this challenge but I hope she picks it up for Snatch Game because her runway killed me - hers, Kameron's and Asia's were the top three runways for sure *.*

I don’t have much to say but I f***ing hate Eureka, please can we not have a shit winner AGAIN. Especially after f***ing Trixie.

KAMERON'S RUNWAY. OH MY GOD. I'm a slight superhero geek, and it's nice to see her create her own superhero on there! I'm also glad that the judges are seeing how much effort she puts into these challenges. Honestly the dark horse we need.

 

I feel like I've seen Vixen's look one too many times before. I'm sick of her only putting in the bare minimum.

 

I did think Blair was underwhelming during the challenge so I wasn't surprised at the elimination but at the same time it felt like a slap in the face to sexual assault victims. Not saying she should get a free pass but... yeah.

Vanjie already got that Miss C trophy honey. I'd be quite shocked otherwise. SHOCKED I tell you.

I really think Miss Vanjie will get Miss Congeniality as well loooool, I think it would be a bit stupid really and a mockery of what the award stands for, but hey. If it was fan fave I'd be ok with it, but she was there one episode was hardly that congenial, but hey. We'll see how the rest of the series goes.
