I'm aware that George Michael performed that medley, but it's not exactly a tribute is it?

They performed it in tribute to their father. Tribute weeks to big artists have always allowed songs that the artists have covered - "I Love Rock N Roll" in Britney week for example.

Yes, and? (he doesn't mention the word 'kiwi' once during the song tbf)

 62. Harry Styles - Kiwi

Oh so not the New Zealand bird

Please can we just refer to them as Eminonce 😂

I don't think any of them would want "nonce" in their name , I'm surprised that they aren't number one at the moment.

saturday performances on xf seem to have little effect

or maybe everybody thought harry was performing a Darkness b-side cover ;)

where's the idea that Kevin is gonna win the show coming from? still quite sure Grace will win.

Ratings are at an all time low.

the fact that he beat Rak-Su in the prize fight and won yesterday's show? I really can't see Grace winning at this stage, the top 2 will be Kevin and Rak-Su.

nah, I'd say the top 3 will look like

1 Grace

2 Rak-Su

3 Kevin

at this point

Grace looks to be the typical "initial HUGE hype then ran out of steam contestant" that we see every year so I agree with Dan's pred.

Didn't stop Stormzy getting a huge boost.

Kiwi just isn't commercial enough, nor is anything left on Harry's album really (although I think he could've got a minor hit out of Sweet Creature with an X Factor performance). Hoping it can keep the album selling over the festive period instead!

That was in response to Saturday performances not giving a boost to guest performers - which I think is correct; none of Liam, Tokio or Harry have gone top twenty (I think) on iTunes off the back of their performances while Stormzy obviously had a huge boost into the top 10 and Rita went from a distant #2 to #1 a couple of days later. Unfortunately, I can't see Paloma's performance having the same effect tonight.

Fair point, although interestingly Sunday has lower viewing figures than Saturday normally. I think it's just down to Stormzy and Rita having more commercial songs than at least Tokio and Harry, while Bedroom Floor just doesn't seem to be capturing the public so much.
