What I would want is new music, not a boring recreation. Since we will never get new music (thanks Mel C.....) I would rather they focus on celebrating the 25th anniversary of the album instead, releasing the tour tickets for 2022 and a new Anthology with rareties. Do some new merch to celebrate, if you want to.

I couldnt care less about re'doing Wannabe. It's a boring idea. If they want to release a special edition on vinyl or whatever to celebrate it, great. Apart from that, couldnt care less.

Why people are so obsessed with new music? The Spice Girls ended a lot time ago as a recording band. Now it's only about nostalgia and I personally love it.

Thanks to Mel C.. we got the reunion when they were ready to deliver! Song For Her proves they lost it. Geri was the main force when it comes to writing, but lately she came up with Headlines, Song Fot Her and Half Of Me. No thanks, I go and listen to that amazing masterpiece that is Spice The Album.

Why do people hold Spice Girls to some ridiculously high standard, higher than Mariah Carey.

You can turn this statement around on the girls themselves. They claim they are protecting their legacy by having high standards with what they release. Fans have been begging for years for unreleased songs. Yet you have Melanie C saying, "B-Sides are B-Sides for a reason." Pretty much every legacy artist under the sun has released outtakes on deluxe editions of albums.

Probably because they only put out 3 studio albums. More recent girlbands put out on average 5 studio albums before splitting, Little Mix are on their sixth.

I'm all for quality over quantity but do feel they could put together something special and memorable. All Saints did with Red Flag and Steps did with Tears on the Dancefloor.

It can be done if the effort is made. Headlines was made to fit in with a greatest hits of older singles and Song For Her was only a demo (a decent one in my opinion)

Its all in their hands.

All Saints are four great vocalists. Nuff said.

A b-sides and raririties album is a no brainer, it only really needs 2 unreleased songs.

Step to me

My strongest suit

The b-sides

Surely in the vaults there is 2 songs they deem worthy of seeing the light of day. Mel C speaks highly of Spice is back from the Greatest Hits sessions.

With the way the album chart is they could have a vinyl and coloured vinyl, CD, numerous cassettes. Deluxe cd with 1 more Unreleased track and some remixes. If they didn't shift 30k+ of it first week I'd be stunned, it could be an easy number 1 if released in the doldrum months of the summer for album sales next year.

I dont know what that has to do with anything?

The Spice Girls all have unique voices and lovely harmonies on record. Great pop isn't always necessarily about fantastic vox anyway.

This would be superb! If only

I agree Sammy. A rarities album is a no brainer. It would help expand their discography. A rarities album would probably garner more attention than deluxe editions of the three studio albums. This would be my ideal tracklist.

1. Spice Is Back

2. Wannabe (Spice World Version)

3. Step To Me

4. Feed Your Love

5. Say You'll Be There (Spice World Version)

6. Walk of Life

7. W.O.M.A.N.

8. Who Do You Think You Are (Morales Club Mix Radio Edit)

9. Outer Space Girls

10. Likely Stories

11. Spice Up Your Life (Morales Carnival Club Mix Radio Edit)

12. Take Me Home

  • 4 previously unreleased songs
  • Spice World movie version of Wannabe, Say You'll Be There & Who Do You Think You Are
  • Step To Me - released for the first time outside of Europe and Japan
  • 3 highly regarded B-Sides
  • Spice Up Your Life (Morales Carnival Club Mix) - used on the 2019 Spice World tour
^ You can add Holler (2019 Tour Version) to the list.
The thing with unreleased music is do they want it heard? Melanie C for one has made it very clear she doesnt like much of it.
You can add 'Wannabe/Spice up your life Olympic Mix' and 'How does it feel (to be on top of the world)' to a rarities album.
I kinda hate she is using Posh to flog lipsticks.

Mel C and Emma used the Spice Brand all over their promotions for their respective albums. It's no different to be honest.

Exactly, just because she doesn't want to tour with the group anymore doesn't mean she is no longer 'Posh'

It is different for me personally as those 2 were up on stage last year making my dreams come true. They still feel like Spice Girls to me too.

To you and you only, hun. Every single one of the girls have stated that Victoria is very much a part of the band as much as everyone else ^_^

Melanie C dismissed the “wannabe recreated video” rumour by the way, she said on The One Show that she had no idea where the rumour stemmed from, she thought it would be a bad idea & just highlight how much older they all are (lol)

The Appleton sisters are hardly 'great' vocalists, I mean they can hold a tune but there's nothing particularly special about their voices. I'd say Mel is the only 'great' vocalist among them tbh although I love Shazney's voice she doesn't have the greatest range either...

Thank the LORD!! Worst idea ever.
