Yeah I feel like the show will be new. The set list will be similar just with new designs. I think the globe was a good idea but maybe too big to carry around the world, so it will probably be more standardised.

Both the Mels and Emma would be up for a proper world tour, I think. The jury is definitely out on Geri though, but I think with the right incentives (money, ego being fed) she could do it.

Because of family priorities (which they always used as an excuse), I would imagine some gaps in legs of the tour. Yeah, they did get tired quickly in 1998 but it was a different time, where they hadnt really stopped at all working for the past 3 years, there was only a 2-week gap between the European and the USA legs and Geri left in the middle of the tour which meant they had to work extra to make up for her. No wonder they were exhausted.

If they perform around school times (so Summer and then Winter), they will be fine and have plenty of resting time.

Right. My thought is...since it'll likely be four years or so from the 2019 tour once they can logistically get back on the road, there will be a need to freshen up the show. I gather the audience didn't love Spice Circle...or at least the ones who paid for it didn't. That makes me wonder if they'll go the route of a more traditional runway platform into the audience.

Anyway. My only concern about a tour with huge gaps is how production crews will react to that. I'm not personally in production for the touring of big shows, but I have several friends who are. A show going only when the Spices' kids are off from school would put the crew in a bizarre spot of a super long commitment...and not being able to accept other paying gigs in the meantime. The crew and dancers are, in effect, normal workers. Gotta eat. In that sense, it'd make it easier if the girls would take the time to just honestly commit to the road. But. These are all hypothetical situations. We'll see how it goes.

As an aside to that, my friends have told me there was a belief within the production crews that the ROTSG tour was going to resume in summer 2008. What I don't know is if that was based on anything substantial behind the scenes...or just wishful thinking after a big tour was abruptly halted for unusual reasons.

All I do know is this. For this new tour, we all better get our expectations ready for...an all-white stage costume wardrobe for Geri!

A new tour as if they would have stored everything from the last show because the plan was to always extend.

They only ever give themselves a few weeks to rehearse.

I would like the following to happen.

New Entrance

Mama And Viva Forever swapped

I also feel Do It will be dropped!

I really want all of that to happen, plus:

- Spice Circle to be scrapped (it wont, it gave them too much money as the ticket prices were high)

- Them to actually sing one more song after Holler, ideally Step to Me and a song from Forever

If they do this, then they could do the same show for all I care! :arrr:

 I think the fandom would collapse...

Lol a white Union Jack dress this time...

I think Do It would probably stay unless they replace it with something like Naked however I feel they are aware they need the upbeat songs more as they do have a lot of ballads / slower moments in their show already.

Here for Step to me coming back though so much!!

I'd expect Something kinda funny and LLLTW to make way for 2 other songs and maybe We are family switched up for a different cover.

Naked, Step to Me and one more song from Forever (Tell Me Why or Right Back atya) - Holler remix was good but I would like to hear the original version. The 2007 version sounded sooo good!! Thats all.

I also loved my experience in the spice circle

Spice Circle was a great idea in theory but the main stage was very high above it and it needed much more expanisve choreo to please everyone.

I think a traditional catwalk and B stage will replace it, it would be easy to adapt that more to different stadiums and arenas if needs be.

I hope so!

Also, another thing I would change: the Musical Director  We need better - live - music this time. As fun as the show was in 2019, the music arrangements were basically the album tracks and single mixes lol we need some proper musical approach here... <_<

I’d love Naked and Saturday Night Divas to both make an appearance on the next tour.
Saturday Night Divas is their second most popular album track, so it probably should make an appearance.
Didn't Mel C say Do It was her least favourite song to perform? Wouldn't be surprised to see that one getting dropped from the setlist.

Not another one. Major cringe.

ESpecially the lads dressed up as them, which gives "straight guys doing someting silly for a night" vibe. Couldn't they have done this with some real queens and gather more to their own fans instead of locals?

Yep, this whole campaign is very 'straight rights' to be honest... urgh, so bored of it... I guess it at least gave them like 30,000 new instagram followers? LOL...

The amount of content they filmed is impressive though... They must have been paid quite well to warrant them spending a whole day filming together

I don't understand this whole straight rights thing of them, it's not like the straights are out there supporting them and buying their 25 pound vinyls.

Surely hope they got paid a lot for this shit show

It also surprises me that Coinmaster got the girls to do four (that we know of) different scenarios for adverts. I wonder how long they worked for, could it have been more than a one day thing?

Over the years the Spice Girls have used the age old excuse of "it's difficult to get all of our diaires aligned to do things", yet they all managed to make it work out for this. The cheque certainly must have been good for them to do this.

Obviously celebrities who endorse products don't neccessarily use them, and it doesn't even have to be believable that they would, but still... this Spice Girls/Coinmaster pairing does strike me as a bit odd and kind of forced. I wonder if these ads are actually appealing to the audience that Coinmaster are targetting? Is it having the desired effect of "oh wow, the Spice Girls! I must download this app!"? - ha.

Oh well, if this is what the four of them thought was a worthwhile project, that's fine. I truly wish they'd have this same energy regarding getting into a music recording studio, but for some reason that is not something they make space in their diaries for.

IM SO TIRED

We all think about ourselves as the main Spice Girls target audience and us obsessive gays are but only the hardcore fans not the fans on mass.

Coventry in 2019 was like a massive drunken hen night for every Sandra, Sue and Karen who was a kid or teenager in 1997. Now they are 30 or 40 year old mums who play these online games while they sip wine and listen to the 90s Spotify playlist. These adverts are directly targetted at the right audience for the game.

Where as the new merch that is in lots of stores is targetted at a younger generation who weren't even alive when they were around, just look at the ages of the models wearing them. They are aimed at those who wear a Rolling Stones or Beatles t-shirt because they are vintage and cool.

I don't mind either as I know the Spice/Spiceworld 25 releases will be aimed at me the obsessive gay.

Hopefully those 3 demographics all come together again at the end of this year and sell a shit load of tour tickets.
