I dont think it confirms anything, more like Melanie is doing campaign to get the girls to perform... Emily Davis who curates the headline acts, has mentioned that there are two confirmed female headliners for next year that have never done the festival before. This could be the girls' last chance as we know that Glasto will be taking a year off in 2025 and honestly I cant see them being active in 2026 (to be honest, I can barely see them being active next year either but you know...)

There are rumous on other forusm of Taylor and Madonna doing it... I could see Taylor Swift - Madonna - Spice Girls, now THAT would be amazing as a line up!!

There are rumous on other forums of Kylie Minogue and Beyoncé doing it... I could see Beyoncé - Kylie Minogue - Spice Girls, now THAT would be amazing as a line up!!

OH YES I would LOVE to see Madonna, Beyonce and The Spice Girls take over Glastonbury!

I think Madonna might be a bit 'over it' to do Glasto at this stage, and Beyonce is probably too costly but she would be amazing for sure...

Out of all the ones mentioned, I would be least interested in Taylor or Kylie (even if Padam is amazing) personally... They just scream 'bland performers' to me specially after seeing some videos of Taylor's current tour (talk about mediocrity with a huge budget...!). Kylie at least would deserve it!

Rihanna , Madonna , Spice Girls !

Nah. Not Madonna.

Spice Girls, Cher, P!nk.

Yeah if Victoria and even Geri sign up for it then it'll definitely be the last tour as both have completely moved on.

I just don't understand. It's like she came back just to quit after doing those big Albert Hall performances... Immediately after, she was calling herself an ex Spicy Lady and was running sround in white, proclaiming herselr to be thr next Shakespeare...

why? :neyde:

She pretty much did in the iplayer interview. She basically said for some of the girls it is a bit psycological having not been on stage since 2019 (she might as well have said Geri) so they would need to get some shows in before hand so they are on top form for next year.

I'd be shocked at this point if they aren't doing it with a tour leading into it. Everything is pointing towards it.

She is The Shakespeare of our generation: Generation Next >>>>!

:cheeseblock:

Wasn'ts she behind, Yellow man in Timbuktu as well?

I mean

- Madonna

- Cher

- P!nk

- Taylor

- Spice Girls

ALL of these girls deserve slots at Glastonbury, they are all iconic and (the first 4) have given SO much to music over decades! Let's not put any of them down. I'd rather the above all got slots over Kylie and Beyonce purely because they have both done it already.

The problem is, they would never have them all in one show it would be far too poppy for them. Can also only see them inviting Cher as a legends slot performance (which she would smash tbf) so her and Spice Girls would never get the same year (although Blondie and Cat Stevens got it this year) AND Rick Astley got a pyramid stage slot so who knows!???

It’d be a pity, but let’s be honest, Geri’s heart is somewhere else. Victoria, well, I don’t see her coming back and if she does, she won’t be singing a lot. As for the rest, they’re surely down for whatever. Mel B, needless to say, she can’t wait. Emma never says no. Melanie C loves touring. Let’s hope they find the best combo to make all 5 happy and - most importantly - COMFORTABLE. Let’s not forget about mental health.

Madonna for Galsto.....ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!

Well if Sugababes can do it, there is no reason Madonna, who's discography is vastly superior than pretty much any living pop artist out there, couldn't. If she did a proper all the big hits setlist she would go down as one of the greatest setlists ever in Glastonbury history.

- Holiday

- Borderline

- Like a virgin

- Material girl

- Crazy for you

- Into the groove

- Papa don't preach

- La isla bonita

- Like a prayer

- Express yourself

- Vogue

- Justify my love

- Erotica

- Take a bow

- Frozen

- Ray of light

- American pie

- Music

- Beautiful stranger

- Hung up

- 4 minutes

I don't even like all of the above songs however nobody can deny they are some of the biggest, most recognisable songs of all time.

I just don't understand. It's like she came back just to quit after doing those big Albert Hall performances... Immediately after, she was calling herself an ex Spicy Lady and was running sround in white, proclaiming herselr to be thr next Shakespeare...

Well, she attended Bunton's iconic Albert Hall performance, for sure. But she did not stand on that stage to perform :teresa:

I son't get it though. Geri was all over the Spice Girls for years, even doing Gem?!

Doing something else outside Spice Girls = turning her back on them, apparently

Where’s this Iconic Albert Hall pub? Camden?

Geri is always there, even when we don’t see her. Also Victoria has supported the other girls without having to share a press release all the times. Sometimes we forgot they have their own private lives and channels that allow them to support each other’s solo efforts safe from the press. Queens of not splitting up publicly back in the day to avoid the paps.
